Nakikiisa ako sa sambayanan sa kalungkutan, panalangin at pakikibaka sa kawalan na dulot ng sunud-sunod na mapinsalang mga bagyo. Hinihikayat ko ang lahat na magbayanihan sa abot ng ating makakaya.

Hindi "sakto" sa pananampalataya ng mga Pilipino sa Makapangyarihang Diyos na taun-taon na lamang nating nararanasan ang malawakang pinsala na mula, sa malaking bahagi, sa kakulangan natin ng preparasyon. Upang maging "sakto", manalangin ng akma, kumilos at labanan ang kasamaan. Manalangin para sa pagpigil ng unos, patibayin ang mga bahay at pangharang sa dalubyo ng tubig at lahar, palaganapin ang mga mangroves at pagbawalan ang walang humpay na pagputol ng kahoy at quarrying. Ipaglaban ang karapatang makakuha ng mabilis at scientific na impormasyong ipaaabot ng mass media at government agencies. Higit sa lahat, panagutin ang pabaya, makasarili, magnanakaw at mga namumulitikong pulitiko at ehekutibo. Sila'y mga walang puso at pagmamalasakit. Ipagdasal na mawala na sila at bumoto para sa mga tunay na lalaban para sa Diyos at Bayan! Buhayin natin ang sarili bilang Sovereign Filipino People!
