Center for Applied Music, Miriam College
The Miriam College Center for Applied Music, or "music center" as it is more popularly called has a long tradition of music education.
Founded since 1954, it has been constantly reinventing itself to provide more up to date teaching methods and curriculum apt for the changing artistic and musical needs of our students. Our programs are innovative and exciting, catering to students of all ages from 4- 80!
Our guitar teachers, Jenny de Vera and Iqui Vinculado... members of Triple Fret will be awarded the Ani ng Dangal from The National Commission for Culture and the Arts by the end of this month for their international achievements. Congratulations!!

Our string ensemble. Sinfonia and all-female Treble Vocal Ensemble will be serenading the Miriam College community during the Lighting of the Advent Star on December 1.

It was a well received event that saw a gathering of music enthusiasts, professional musicians and the who's who in Philippine music and theater.

We just concluded our 1st set of weekend recitals for the school year 2014-2015. Featuring an array of musical presentations from our students in voice, piano, violin, and drums.
