: In today’s Metro Manila Cooperative Congress, themed ‘Managing for Excellence,’ the 1CISP President, Roy S. Miclat, shared his inspiring journey in transforming 1CISP, showcasing effective strategies for fostering a thriving workforce centered on action, retention, motivation, engagement, and balanced work-life.

In a powerful demonstration of People, Purpose, and Passion, Roy has successfully led a remarkable 180-degree turnaround of 1CISP, moving from financial challenges to a thriving cooperative culture.

The forum featured an inspiring message from CDA Region 2 Director, Atty. Jovilyn M. Gaffud-Marquez, sharing her invaluable insights on the cooperative movement.

This was followed by an in-depth analysis of financial statements and cooperative business strategies by the one and only, Mr. Isagani Daba, equipping cooperatives with tools to maximize assets, expand revenue, foster member loyalty, and emphasize the value of savings for both individuals and the cooperative.
