Finished with natural wood, stones, and cool tones. The concept addresses indoor thermal comfort through proper orientation and cross-ventilation with the use of clerestory, large doors and window openings that can also contribute to natural lighting. Located in Tarlac, Philippines, a study on developing land of 300 square meters for a retirement home.

This project is designed for heat loss and less heat gain. Cozy and comfortable by providing generous spaces for the end-users. Finished with white to light tones, and accented with stones and wood materials for the simple but elegant look and dynamic exterior. To blend with nature, provided a native Bahay Kubo viewing a natural water feature.

Residing in a tropical country, it is important to maximize natural ventilation by properly placing door and window openings for better airflow and thermal comfort through passive cooling. Good orientation to minimize the exposure of the rooms to direct sunlight. The roof concept is derived from an eagle's wings, with extended eaves for better sun shading.
