Case #36 - Out of the Blue

Location: SOMBRA's Volcano Island Base

Summary: Marshall Metcalf, the blue professor the team has met throughout Oceania is found dead on an island's beach. A syringe has been stabbed behind his neck.

An old map leads The Bureau in the middle of the Indian Ocean where they find an uncharted volcanic island. This is where supposed SOMBRA's 'The Next Level' is taking place. They've lost contact with 'X', their anonymous informant, and they think it was Metcalf.

Michelle Zuria warned Metcalf for secretly betraying SOMBRA by showing his work to a stranger and tried to take the poison that killed him after losing his mind. The mentioned stranger is Asal Hawaa, Mossad Agent, and was given information by the victim as an insider but became uselessly paranoid. Escaped recruit, Baxter Fraser, returned to the island base to end the recruitment of lost orphans and horror of experiments. He's having unstable, complicated emotions against the organization. The volcanologist, Ruby Armstrong, is found in the volcanic base via distress call saying Metcalf tied her up. Later revealed that SOMBRA stole her blueprints of the base inside. And treasure diver, Brice LeBeau, is trespassing "again" and is completely oblivious of the island's purpose.

The killer is… LeBeau. Metcalf was driven into madness, believing he wanted to kill him. The professor kept trying to stab LeBeau with the syringe, he did it to defend himself. Then, Michelle confirms that she is 'X' and proof of her contacts as their informant is found. There was doubt at first since 'X' tipped the team to her and she has helped to find the experiment base in Indonesia and the Sydney gala. She's needed in the team, yet there is a sense of distrust for turning against SOMBRA due to her ethics.

Asal breaks up with the team's master of disguise after having trust issues being Mossad and Bureau. She hints of Metcalf's last file sleft inside the volcano as just deranged ramblings, it was in facþ him trying to solve the yellow eyes side effects that the SOMBRA recruits get after being experimented on. He also wrote "The Bureau" and almost incoherent notes of a ship of assassins that left two days ago. Baxter says he pretended to be there to kill Metcalf so he didn't board the ship and wasn't briefed on their mission. All he knows is that it's heading to Kenya in Africa.

Case #35 - Six Feet Down Under

Location: Sydney, Australia

Summary: Media mogul, Rufus Murlock, has been shot several times outside the Sydney Opera House.

Tipped by their anonymous informant 'X' to head to Australia where the Bureau might be able to catch a SOMBRA recruit. The Australia Shines Gala is being held tonight at the Opera House with celebrities open for targeting

The victim's assistant, who called out for help, says Rufus got a private call and she followed him outside to take notes, she knew he had a secret in an underwater property. A drag queen met the mogul at a deserted pub and petrol station before his success which actually came from him inviting Rufus to drag. An indigenous lobbyist has beef against the victim after losing his people's land and making him look like a traitor for selling it to a casino business. A French diver and treasure hunter trespasses more than once in Rufus' property, a shipwreck with absolutely no records. And Michelle Zuria, the lawyer the team was tipped on in Malaysia, was asked by the mogul to audit his assets which includes the ship. She placed a bomb in the proximity but she knew it wouldn't detonate and blow up the vessel.

The killer is the assistant. She did it for order and leadership, revealing to have yellow eyes under her contacts. Commanded by SOMBRA to assassinate the mogul. The team tries to get her talking by mentioning her past but it doesn't work, she remembers but is devoted to the organization for making her strong. Meanwhile, Michelle keeps secret of why she put a bomb on that ship which has been confirmed to belong to SOMBRA. Luckily she tells them that there is a safe of documents down, traces of Rufus' fingerprints still on it. After, the drag queen says Rufus told him he buried a briefcase in the desert. He dug it up after the murder and along with passports there is an old map with an 'X' and 'The Next Level' in the middle of the Indian Ocean. A remote island which is a major SOMBRA base.

Case #34 - Speak, Friend, and Die

Location: New Zealand

Summary: Movie director, Jackson Peters, has been killed on the set of his film with a Maori cutting tool, maripi.

The Bureau heads to New Zealand in search of Baxter Fraser, a Thai boxer, after learning that he and another SOMBRA recruit for the 'Next Level' program are trying to escape the criminal organization.

The victim's wife who is also the casting director treated their films as family yet argued about his unusual decisions to recast without her knowing. A rugby player, casted as an orc, didn't really want to branch into the world of entertainment because apparently his hobbies and sponsors were enough. A famous motion picture actor and the director were close friends yet was abusing their friendship by making him work extra hours. The volcanologist from Singapore was hired by Jackson as "location consultant" when in reality he did it to make his wife jealous and she was rejected again. The team finds Baxter, scared and on the run from SOMBRA. They later catch him turn the set upside down to protect himself because he was seen by the director and took pictures

The killer is the rugby player. Jackson caught him taking steroids and filmed it. He was blackmailed to stay in the film ,so he decided to silence the director instead of reporting and lose his reputation. Afterwards, Baxter tells the team that SOMBRA is involved in the film's production. The actor says that the cast of teenagers playing halflings have disappeared along with spotting someone with blue skin even though there was no such character. A prop book reveals that the victim's wife, and she admits, was given money by financial backers to cast a group of youth and send them across the world thinking they would make other movies. She describes them as having yellow eyes. Meanwhile, the team's tech expert takes Baxter to geysers for rage therapy when they suddenly find a transmitter. It's coming from a tracker in a rugby bar where the boxer has been hiding, he runs away. 'X' tips the Bureau off to Sydney, Australia.

Case #33 - The Sweet Escape

Location: Indonesia

Summary: Riaja Somalinggi, a SOMBRA recruit, is spotted laying on a beach. Shot with a speargun through the lungs.

She's the girl in the SOMBRA's found DVD video talking about the 'Next Level' program. According to the Bureau's coroner, her eyes are actually yellow in color and doesn't how it is possible.

The victim's brother says she left when they were still young and returned changed, Riaja didn't care about their home anymore. A crocodile enthusiast was filming near the location when the victim bumped into him and accused him of being an agent of some sort. The blue professor from the first case of Oceania claims he hasn't heard of Riaja, when he's been in fact conducting experiments for SOMBRA. A psychologist says she was called by a client to assess the victim and other recruits, but didn't acknowledge the client was the criminal organization. Lastly, a witch doctor blessed a ring to Riaja and performed an exorcism believing she was 'possessed' by the devil.

The killer is the psychologist. According to her, directives have to be followed so Riaja's fast escape made her panic and prevented the victim from escaping. Later, the team's scientist worries since their master of disguise has run off. They find him and break the news that his girlfriend, Asal Hawaa, is in Indonesia. Mossad had sent her for a mission to investigate SOMBRA but he insisted the Bureau will bring them down. Meanwhile, a folder of the professor's experiments is uncovered. They are genetically enhancing recruits to be more intelligent, or made stronger, or become fast like Riaja. The experiments have a yellow eye side-effect, and who else did they meet with yellow eyes? The boxer from Thailand, Baxter Fraser, was sent a video by the victim telling him to hide with her. Their escape location was cut off but the team's able to deduce they were going to New Zealand.

Case #32 - A Stab in the Dark

Location: Singapore, Singapore

Summary: Constance Tan, a finance company CEO, is dead on a dining table at a giant ferris wheel. Stabbed with a parang in the stomach.

The Bureau is tipped by 'X' to go to Singapore and learn about SOMBRA from Michelle Zuria. In the middle of their meeting her client calls, crying for help since his girlfriend has died on their date.

Michelle Zuria really doesn't seem to know about the criminal organization, the victim learned about her past clients so she tried to convince her boyfriend to fire Ms. Zuria as a lawyer. The boyfriend is in distraught and was saved by the team from commiting su***de of building, he admits to be the head of Constance's competing company. A volcanologist claims she and the victim were best friends but hid the fact they dated for years, dumped her for someone who fit her image. The pool boy of the building says the victim was strict yet a good customer, constantly asking for money to keep her past relationship a secret. And Constance's right-hand man seems to only be concerned about how her death affects their company, jealous that he wasn't the one to get awards for being CEO.

The killer is the boyfriend, Anbu Devanesan is a SOMBRA Agent. Constance stumbled upon the organization's name and stole his data device. Whilst trying to arrest him he takes the team's hacker, Elliot, hostage who decrypted the device containing information about him. Mr. Devanesan is laundering SOMBRA's money. Ms. Zuria only knows he was giving money for charity to raise orphans to the "Next Level." A file shows the previous victim was a test subject for an experiment, Sanjay remembers whispers from other kids about returning "different". Jonah, the field expert, gives the scope of the situation and how it benefits Anbu. He's caught at a dock and Elliot is saved. Elliot says Anbu called someone to prepare a boat, thinking he was unconscious. He mentioned going to Indonesia.

Case #31 - Death Match

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Summary: Boxing champion, Thanid Tongproh, has been strangled with his mongkol and left on the ropes of the ring at Rajadamnern Stadium.

A mystery girl with yellow eyes is found on a recording that leads the Bureau to Bangkok to find out what happens to the survivor of SOMBRA's hunt and the aforementioned "Next Level". The victim's championship match that night was canceled.

Thanid's coach admired his athleticism yet was disgusted by his champion's behavior, smoking, and womanizing. The victim's wife knew about his philandering as well but not his violence outside the ring, showing her relief that her husband is dead. His opponent is relieved he doesn't have to fight Thanid for the belt because they secretly knew has an arm injury. He seemingly has yellow eyes and claims it's just contact lenses to suit his fans' nickname, "Viper". A professor, who turned his skin blue due to self-experiments, tried to convince Thanid to take an enhancer to help him win but refused to make the match unfair. And a bookmarker/gambler says he bets on Thanid to win yet actually betted for him to lose, his intuition saw the champion's fading glory.

The killer is the bookmarker. Thanid broke an agreement they made where if he were to throw the fight, he'd get a cut of the gambler's fortune. The champion changed his mind and the bookmarker was afraid to lose everything and go bankrupt. Afterwards, an anonymous message from 'X' tips the team to investigate the victim more. Discovered a photo of young Thanid in the classroom from the previous case. According to his wife, Thanid was angry about the photo and hated the word "orphan," making him sound weak. And a letter from Obaasan leaves no doubt that he was recruited by SOMBRA. Meanwhile, the team's field expert, Jonah, asks for help to show his feelings to their psychologist, Marina. 'X's intel seems reliable, they point the team to Singapore where Michelle Zuria will help them learn more about SOMBRA'S next level program.

Case #30 - The Murder Games

Location: Kyushu, Japan

Summary: Tsukada Hiroshi has been shot in the back with a crossbow.

After discovering SOMBRA's plan in trafficking and training orphans across East Asia, the Bureau follows Sanjay Korrapati's trail to the southern tip of Japan. The Japanese girl, Tsukada Cheiko, finds them to inform them that she found her brother but he's dead.

All suspects have appeared twice, except for Sanjay who the Bureau met in South Asia.

Chieko got a call from Sanjay after finding her brother, later gave a crossbow to the team's coroner's triplets while in custody. She's now alone and believes no one will care if she dies. Afterward, the team gets a call from Sanjay to find him, he and the other kids were told to hunt each other until one remains. But deep inside he's hiding his grief on Kesavan's death, trying to prove he's not weak. The K-Pop Singer, SILVERee, believes SOMBRA is a sponsorship and is a total idiot for not realizing kids are actually killing each other.
The Yakuza, Ronin Ozawa, claims he's only supplying SOMBRA children and weapons for profit. Careless about the casualties of "The Hunt". And Obaasan, a Japanese grandmother, explains her children like pincushions and an old picture of her and her classmates crossed out to be normal.

The killer is… Obaasan, saying she looked after the orphans and gave them values the way she grew up. She believes only the Yakuza know honor after the war, SOMBRA brainwashed these children into a "bright future" by killing one another. Jonah, who is the team's weapons expert, made Ronin crack under pressure and revealed that the children of The Hunt have trackers. The Japanese got hold of at least 20 kids, some injured but alive.

Meanwhile, SILVERee feels guilty for being involved and wants to help fix it. Marina, the team's psychologist, requests finding good memories for Cheiko and Sanjay to hold onto. They thank the Bureau for the hospitality, but they have nowhere to go so the coroner suggests finding them new families using the new charity they created back in South Asia. Chieko is hopeful about her future, however Sanjay runs off enraged. He doesn't want to live with strangers, instead wants to fight crime with them. The team's journalist, Carmen, thinks her being his legal guardian would be good enough. The triplets of the coroner have been sent home. We'll just have to see how things turn out.

Lastly, Ronin reveals what the winner of The Hunt would've gotten. They find a DVD with "The Next Level" written on it has a video of a woman congratulating the survivor of SOMBRA's hunt. Encrypted on it is a location. Bangkok, Thailand.

Case #29 - A Death Wish

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Summary: Yakuza Family Boss, Yuto Watanabe, is found shot in the shoulder and head. The victim tried to take their own life honorably instead of the killer's, Seppuku or Hara-kiri. His body is left at an arcade.

The Bureau goes to Japan after suspecting the traveller from four cases ago is a SOMBRA agent who has been recruiting children and trafficking them across East Asia.

The suspected agent says he's taking care of the children, being a yakuza member built on honor and pride. He reveals that the organization made a deal with SOMBRA but Watanabe became greedy. A schoolgirl saw the victim as an annoyance with arcade customers and once invited her to a yakuza party. Sanjay Korrapati is here working at the arcade after hearing from other kids who told him to go. He escaped the team's custody now knowing he's been inflicting harm, to others and himself, with a knife Watanabe gave him. An English teacher pretended she was only helping the victim with global contact, but actually was engaged to his nephew who died years ago. The Japanese girl from two cases back is also here after getting tipped that her brother is in Tokyo. She gave an omamori or good luck charm to Sanjay and refused to say where he is.

The killer is the English teacher. Watanabe killed his nephew on their wedding day due to him leaving the yakuza and stealing his uncle's money. A slow and patient revenge. Moving on, vlog footage from the schoolgirl shows the agent instructing Sanjay to get payback and giving him a gun. On the other hand, the triplets are going rampant. They tore their doll apart and said the Japanese girl told them to not be weak. The Japanese girl gave a phone to Sanjay to stay in touch, but claims she hasn't heard from him yet. She did this because her brother has been seen in the South. Tracking the phone's serial point towards Japan's Kyushu Island.

Case #28 - Oh! Crazy Kill!

Location: Seoul, South Korea

Summary: Biggest Korean TV Producer, Gwak Sung-Ho, has been crushed by a pillar on set but he was actually stabbed behind the neck with an ice pick.

Following the SOMBRA's trail and figuring out the grand plan of taking and brainwashing children to South Korea. The Bureau comes across the studio of "Oh! Crazy Kids!" which was produced by the victim.

The K-Pop Singer from two cases back boasts about Gwak using his music on the show, when in reality he was played on for lip-synching. Also from two cases back, a retired Japanese grandma thinks kids have become obsessed with TV culture yet begged to put her grandson in his show. Another producer was a huge fan of the victim but was banned by him from the "Oh! Crazy Kids!" studio. The show's host says he uses Gwak's credit card all the time and was okay being fired by him. And the victim's mistress seemed unable to cope with his passing but later tried to ruin his reputation on television, saying he was "brainwashing" or dumbing down Korean children.

The killer is the show's "former" host, claiming he did it for his own life. Unable to get movie roles, the host resorted to Hwatu gambling which the Gwak had an exposé show about. The thugs who run it ordered the host to kill him to pay his debt. Later, analysis of the K-Pop singer's videos show SOMBRA's symbol and subliminal messages about "not being weak and doing one's duty." The singer denies knowing anything about the organization. Meanwhile, the team's coroner just disappeared and acted strange when the team found her again, can't handle her triplets going missing. In one of their bags is a photo of the suspected SOMBRA agent from the first case of East Asia. The photo was taken in an arcade in Tokyo, Japan

Case #27 - A Twist of Fate

Location: Beijing, China

Summary: Gang Leader, Fang Cheng, has been choked with a plastic bag on the Great Wall.

The team heads to Beijing after learning that SOMBRA is the cause of children disappearing across East Asia. Their grand plan with orphans is big enough for them and anyone to be concerned.

A waitress admits she was a part of the victim's pickpocketing gang at one point but left after her brother mysteriously went missing. Cheng was a father-figure to street kids but one got into a fight with him after learning they were not handing over what they stole. The victim's wife seems to only care about her husband's pickpocket money, reminding how much it sucked to be poor. A government official claims they've been trying to arrest Cheng for years but has actually been taking bribes to release him. And to the team's surprise, Sanjay Korrapati from South Asia is more cheerful than the last time they met him in Tibet. The victim tried to recruit him after seeing him steal an expensive necklace but said he had a better offer.

The killer is his own wife who has had enough of him abusing the children she so deeply cares about. Even though they led them to a life of crime. The waitress asks for help to find her brother. Before disappearing, she told her that an organization was giving orphans a bright future. An admission form of the recruit who fought Cheng was desperate to escape him but was denied. The team's psychologist, Marina, thinks SOMBRA's looking for candidates that will grow up to be loyal. Kids they can easily brainwash. They inform the waitress, she was given a tip-off that her brother was in Seoul. Meanwhile, Sanjay seems to be obsessed with being useful and not being weak. A recording is found of him talking to the suspicious traveler, who the Bureau believes to be working for SOMBRA, from two cases back. Sanjay never saw the man again and heads to a bright future in South Korea.

Case #26 - Dead in the Water

Location: Sichuan, China

Summary: Adoption Agency worker, Li Jun, has been beaten in the head with a jade vase and left to float under the river of Lotus Bridge.

After learning that Zhao Mei, the previous case's killer, was from the Sichuan Province. According to a traveler, social services are worried about her and the team must find out more about SOMBRA's involvement with children.

The victim's daughter appears to be devastated about her death, but in reality had more love and affection for orphans. A panda caretaker confirms Jun visited the reserve and prevented her from getting in ever again after hurting the bears. She filmed a K-pop Idol whose songs she banned from Chinese children networks, then later attacked by the pandas. An old retired lady from Japan and became friends with Jun yet advised her to stop messing with families through adoption. And a painter met the victim again after changing her mind about being a mother with her artistic lifestyle.

The killer is the painter who was actually denied a chance to adopt by Jun. The victim ruined her life and she didn't even recognize her.
A found USB suggests Li Jun was not only investigating Zhao Mei's disappearance but also other orphans in Sichuan. The victim counted how many children were disappearing and where, also questioning "What is SOMBRA?" Beijing is the most targeted with a mass of 60 children.

Case #25 - Killer in the Rice

Location: Yunnan, China

Summary: Teenage farmer, Guo Han, is found with his throat slashed by a sickle at a rice field.

A letter directed to Warren Goodfellow from "The Head Hunter" leads the team to China to find how SOMBRA is involved with all of the chaos in South Asia.

The victim's aunt explains that his parents moved to Beijing and haven't returned ever since, saying he's been acting strange. An old local blind man is furious with children messing with him, including Han and claiming the shadows will fall upon their village. His 6th sense sensed a traveler who denied knowing the victim then saying he wants him to be an apprentice. Han's friend dared him to be stronger because she believes the "weak" die in the countryside. And the only teacher in the village's school didn't understand why the kids decided to burn various books. There's something wrong with the children here.

The killer is Han's friend, Zhao Mei. According to the team's psychologist, Marina, Mei is showing signs of Post Traumatic-Stress Disorder or PTSD. Repeating "the weak must die." A soldier statue with a SOMBRA symbol on its shield is found at Han's house. His aunt is unable to help but is thankful. Meanwhile, the traveler's fingerprint is found on a button of Warren. It isn't a coincidence that he has stumbled upon a killer and victim, and he also smoothly explains the GPS watch given to Mei. Saying she isn't from the village, social services are worried about her in the Sichuan Province.
