The Training and Convention Division of the UP Law Center participated in the "Enhancement Training Seminar on Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) in Handling Barangay Disputes for the Lupong Tagapamayapa and Anti-Bastos Law (RA 1131), the Safe Space Act" from yesterday until today at Club Balai Isabel, Talisay, Batangas.

During this two-day seminar, participants engaged in enriching workshops, had thought-provoking discussions, and gained valuable insights from esteemed resource speakers. Together, they delved deeper into the vital role of the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) in preventing the escalation of disputes and fostering a culture of peace and order within their community.

The seminar was specifically designed for the dedicated Lupon members of Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa City, where a population of 41,000 constituents reside. The training aimed to bolster access to justice, refine conflict resolution strategies, and promote good governance practices. Through collaborative efforts, they aspired to empower their community with the necessary tools and knowledge to uphold justice and harmony for all.
