JL Burgos invites the public to watch his documentary film Alipato at Muog at the UP Film Center on Aug. 30, International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances.
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board gave the film an X rating, or not suitable for public viewing, claiming that the documentary "tends to undermine the faith and confidence of the people in their government. Burgos has appealed the decision, saying that the film is about the family's search for justice.
Alipato at Muog director JL Burgos and executive producer Mona Nieva file a formal appeal on the X rating given by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) on their documentary film about the disappearance of Jonas Burgos.
