A case of mid-20s patient with discolored teeth who came to Ampong Dental for a laser teeth whitening session.
Case:
Patient frequently drinks soda which causes the grayish discoloration of his teeth. Usually, carbonated and sugary beverages can lead to enamel damage and discoloration. The patient is seen with C3 on the tooth shade chart.
Our team at Ampong Dental used laser teeth whitening to help the patient get back his pearly whites! Laser teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to whiten teeth quickly. It is usually accompanied with a bleaching gel that is activated with a laser light. The combination of the heat and light helps to open up the tooth enamel, allowing the solution to pe*****te and break down any discoloration.
After out team at Ampong Dental completed the session, patient’s teeth shade improved to B2 in the tooth chart, which is 11 shades whiter!
