It was indeed a very blessed day and a birthday dream come true for Fr. Julio as today we met one of our regular benefactors in Cottolengo, who sponsored 15 leathered Uratex mattresses. Most of the mattresses we had in Cottolengo were old and quite broken.

Thank you, Ma'am Nonon and Family, for your generous heart and for your precious time and effort in taking us personally to the Uratex store to select the best mattresses suitable for our dear children.

8 September 2024: Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrating the moment when Mary, the Mother of Our Lord and God, Jesus Christ, was born into this world.

The same day we are happy to celebrate the gift of life of our dear Ogie Orione. 🙏

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, as we rejoice today in celebration of the birthday of the Mother of Our Lord, let us all therefore look upon the examples of her faith and dedication, her trust in God and how she humbly allowed God to lead her in all things. And indeed, it is by following her examples and being inspired by her faith that we can be closest to God, for 'through Mary, to Jesus' should be our rallying cry, in the constant struggle against sin.

Let us all not loose our faith and remain strong in our commitment to the Lord. Let us all have faith, that in the end, we will win the struggle over our souls, and by siding with God, with the help of His beloved Mother, Mary, who is also our mother, we will find the surest and best way to reach the salvation in God's everlasting grace and love.

Let us ask Holy Mary, Mother of God, to pray for all of us her adopted children and sinners, that we may grow ever stronger in faith and love for her Son, by imitating and following her own examples, humility, obedience and faith, in all times and at all moments of our lives.

May the Lord be with us always, and may He always bless all of our good endeavours, now and forever. Amen. 🙏

Excursion of Cottolengo functional kids with Spanish volunteers in Bulacan (08.25.2024)

It was a blissful, beautiful Sunday filled with happiness and excitement. We visited a convent and other churches in Bulacan with 10 Cottolengo kids and our two Spanish volunteers.

First, we visited the Queens of Angels Monastery (Dominican Contemplative Nuns) in Bocaue, Bulacan. Our kids paid a visit to a dear Sister and brought some gifts.

Next, we visited the St. Martin of Tours Parish where we met Rev. Fr. Mario Jose Ladra. He gave us his blessings, prayed for our children, and generously gave us 20 bags of goods consisting of rice, canned goods, and milk.

We also stopped for lunch at Mang Inasal restaurant, and our children were grateful and excited to eat.

We ended our trip with a visit to the Shrine of St. Andrew Kim Tae-Gon.

Today, we are celebrating the 18th birthday of our dear "Minion boy," Michael.

His wish is to visit SM, play, buy his favorite blue shoes and t-shirt, and eat his favorite food. This wish of his is what he always expresses to people.

Today, his wish was granted by his dear Mama Noemi. Thank you, Ma'am Noemi, for treating Michael as your own son and for your unconditional love for him and our dear Francis.

Michael and Francis really enjoyed this day playing, eating, and buying their favorite shoes. These moments are truly priceless.
May the Lord reward you for everything you do.

Today, the SANGDUGO TITANIUM EAGLES CLUB offered free haircuts to 35 children at Cottolengo Filipino and brought some groceries, including diapers, for our children.

We had a very busy and blessed Saturday at Cottolengo as we received three different groups of visitors today. 🙏

The Friends of St. Paul QC, along with the Religious Education students of SPUQC through Ms. Benzie Guerrero (one of Cottolengo Filipino Board members), conducted a short and joyful activity with the kids.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed this simple moment, and we are incredibly grateful to you for taking the time to visit, share your blessings, and spend quality time with us. 💕🙏
