Papaya Academy Inc is an elementary school project under Kalinga at Pag-ibig Foundation. KAPF. Why in Payatas? That is why the Papaya Academy School was built.
Papaya Academy
In 2003, Papaya Academy was founded by the Dutch Kalinga Foundation. The elementary school offers free education to children from the Payatas garbage dumpsite in Quezon City. The school also offers them a chance to make their life better than before. The nearest school for the children in Payatas is facing lack of teachers, teaching materials and classrooms. Every classroom caters
To help the teachers understand each child's unique requirements, talents, and areas for development, a variety of assessments were administered to the students who would be in our future kindergarten.
CLASS of 2024
The Grade 6 graduation ceremony was held on June 7, 2024. It was time to acknowledge the students’ hard work, to celebrate their achievements, and to give way to a sense of closure as they prepare for the next chapter in their educational journey.
PA wishes you all success!
Dee Degucena served as the guest speaker during the recognition day ceremony. Dee previously attended PAPAYA and APPLE. She finished with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and became licensed after passing the board exam last year.
Thank you for coming, and we are proud of your accomplishments.
Due to the Red Rainfall Warning in Quezon City and Rizal, the Papaya school is open for students, faculty, staff, and their families who may need to evacuate due to flooding in their areas.
Stay safe, Papayans!
Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan
We would like to congratulate the Papaya Academy Class of 2024 and to all the graduating scholars. It’s time to commemorate your dedication and hardwork.
Ms. Sheryl visited Mencia the school in the Netherlands. One of the schools in the country that helps Papaya students to have a beautiful school in the Philippines.

That is excellent news! Celebrating SIKLAB Papaya's 21st anniversary must have been a tremendous achievement for the school. It reflects everyone's hard work, devotion, and vision. What were the highlights of the celebration?
On the first day, THANKSGIVING was highlighted. It was a special day when the entire school, kids, and families could reflect on all our accomplishments throughout the years. Incredibly, 21 years has been such a wonderful year for the school.
Organized a sports day in which kids, teachers, and parents engaged in various athletic activities and games. This encourages physical fitness and collaboration while providing a fun aspect to the celebration.
Aside from sports, the "Search for “Gng. Papaya" exhibited the beauty and talents of each grade-level representative. (Papaya Mothers) This provided excitement and bonding opportunities for the mothers, who are always eager to participate in our school activities.
Overall, it was a successful occasion, with everyone demonstrating respect, elegance, and a good attitude.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL CONTENDERS WHO MADE OUR SCHOOL PROUD.
Yesterday the interschool academic competition in different categories was organized, we are proud of all who competed in the quiz bee. For us, you are all winners!

We are proud to your success Eisner.
Thank you so much to our great heroes. 🥰
