Isinasagawa ang gawaing ito ng mga magsasaka kapag kinakailangan nilang tanggalin ang mga damo mula sa kanilang mga taniman. Karaniwan itong ginagawa bago ang mga panahon ng pagtatanim at kasalukuyang lumalaki ang mga palay, upang hindi maagawan ng sustansiya ang pananim. Ang pag-aarit ay tumutulong upang mapanatili ang kalinisan ng lupain at mapabuti ang ani.

Mahalaga ang Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP) sa pagpapanatili ng ganitong mga tradisyon, na nagpapalakas ng ugnayan sa komunidad at nagtataguyod ng pangangalaga sa kalikasan. Ang pag-aarit ay hindi lamang isang gawain kundi isang kultural na ritwal na sumasalamin sa pagkakaugnay ng tao at kalikasan.

"Reflejos de Amor"
A Concept by: John Daniel Batones

Jaime and Penelope were inseparable friends. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, but as Jaime's affection for Penelope deepened, he found himself falling hopelessly in love with her. Summoning all his courage, Jaime confessed his feelings to Penelope, hoping she might feel the same.

Despite initial hesitations, Penelope agreed to let Jaime court her, and for a brief moment, their world was filled with the promise of young love. However, fate had a cruel twist in store for them. One tragic night, Penelope's life was cut short by the very hands of her drunken father in a fit of rage.

Jaime's world shattered into a million pieces as he grappled with the devastating loss of his beloved Penelope. He began experiencing hallucinations, seeing Penelope's ghostly figure haunting his every waking moment. His reality blurred as schizophrenia tightened its grip on his fragile mind, leaving Jaime trapped in a nightmarish world where the line between fantasy and reality no longer existed.

Haunted by the specter of Penelope, Jaime's journey became a desperate struggle to distinguish truth from illusion, clinging to the hope that one day he might find solace in the memories of their once cherished friendship.
