SAMAL CITY CELEBRATES ITS 25TH SILVER FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

The Island Garden City of Samal will celebrate its 25th silver founding anniversary on March 1 to 7.

Under Republic Act 8471, the city was created by the amalgamation of the three former municipalities of Babak, Samal, and Kaputian into one local government unit by turning them into districts.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Island Garden City of Samal, several activities have been lined up to highlight the remarkable achievements, transformation, and growth as the city works to achieve its mission, vision and goals. It is a week-long celebration.

With the theme “Isla Nga Bulahan Sa Kaanyag, Padayon Sa Pag uswag” Samal Island marked 25 years of building a solid foundation for unity and economic prosperity on the path to greatness.

The events were also intended to express gratitude and recognize the remarkable achievements and contributions dedication and exemplary performance of the previous administration as well as current city officials and employees, and the unending support and cooperation with the private sector and national agencies have contributed to the city's success and progress.

The public servants leaders whose feats in building vital projects that have greatly improved the Samalenyo’s quality of life.

The copy of the 2022 Annual Budget was handed over signals his assumption as the head of the office.

For the purpose of contact tracing, all entries in this cemetery will be recorded from October 23-27, 2021 and November 4, 2021.
