Antibiotic resistance is real y'all! Take it from our dear Ryu Sun Jae 😍

What is antibiotic resistance?
Antibiotic resistance is when the antibiotics that used to be effective in treating infectious diseases become ineffective and infections become difficult or impossible to treat, increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness, disability and death.

According to the World Health Organization, the cause of this is the evolution of the bacteria to withstand the drugs as a consequence to misuse and overuse of antibiotics.

Misuse of antibiotics include (but not limited to):
1. Taking antibiotics for simple coughs and colds.
2. Taking antibiotics for simple tooth extractions or other dental procedures.
3. Applying the contents of antibiotic capsule directly on wounds.
4. Not following the prescribed hours and days the antibiotic must be taken.

So always follow the doctor's prescription and avoid self-medicating.
