The impacts of extreme heat caused by the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) calls for the conduct of Risk Assessment to the vulnerable sectors of our community, which include our learning or educational institutions.

This Risk Assessment shall serve as our basis in recommending adaptive and mitigating measures amidst this climate emergency toward safer learning institutions.

To allow this initial impact assessment in schools, ALL FACE -TO-FACE CLASSES in both public and private institutions are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED effective April 3 – 5, 2024 in San Carlos City.

Schools are enjoined to proceed with the approved alternative mode of learning in order to allow continuous education among affected institutions.
