Congratulations on succeedingly completing the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT). As one of your training committees, I hardly admit that I'm proud of you all. We had to make sure we were fair and square. We avoided spoiling you with positive appraisals to train you and your perspective to be bigger than your ego. So these are the words I wasn't able to say during training. I'm proud to be one of your training instructors/committee. I'm delighted to see you wearing your dream uniform with pride and joy. I feel fulfilled knowing you survived all the things you think you couldn't overcome. Thank you. Thank you for letting me impart my knowledge and experience to you. Thank you for obeying, listening, and respecting me throughout the training. All the things I've said and done were only to train, encourage, and shape your character into the best leaders in the future. Indeed, I feel honored to be part of your training and learning. And I hope that there's something I left with you that you can apply and use in your time as the next leaders in your units. Be it in academics, drills, or thoughts that I shared that made your mind strong. I hope you learned something from us that will keep you on track.

And to those cadets who were trained but didn't make it to quota, don't feel pressured and misdirected. Your time will come. It may not be today, but I know for sure there is the right time for you to be in your dream place wearing your dream camouflage dress. You may think you missed your chance, but there's a better door waiting for you. Just keep believing, and never give up.

Once again, congratulations! Be the role model that inspires others to join ROTC.

OFFICERS CANDIDATE COURSE (OCC)

1) At least 20 years old but not a day older than 27 years old on the date of admission;
2) Natural Born Filipino Citizen
3) Baccalaureate degree holder;
4) Single and never been married; never borne or sired a child;
5) Natural Born Filipino citizen;
6) Height of not less than 5,0 ft (152.4 cm) both male and female but not more than 6’4 (193.04 cm);
7) Physically and mentally fit.

CANDIDATE SOLDIER COURSE (CSC)
1) Not less than 18 years old but exactly 26 years of age or younger upon appointment as Candidate Soldier (CS)
2) Natural Born Filipono Citizen
3) With 72 units in college or if high school graduate must be possess technical skill/talents needed by Philippine Army
4) Single and never been married; never borne or sired a child;
5) Natural Born Filipino citizen;
6) Height of not less than 5,0 ft (152.4 cm) both male and female but not more than 6’4 (193.04 cm);
7) Physically and mentally fit.

The following are the initial requirements you need to prepare for the upcoming Pre-Screening:
1) PSA Birth Certificate;
2) Transcript of Records (original Copy);
3) Diploma (original Copy)
4) Senior High Diploma (Original Copy)
5) Form 138 (Original Copy)
6) Any Valid ID (Government-issued)/Police Clearance/NBI Clearance/Voters Certificate
