The City of San Fernando experienced intense to torrential rain showers, causing flooding on major roads and low-lying areas, including in the vicinity of some schools.

Due to this occurrence, Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag immediately ordered the CDRRMC to assess the respective situations of the schools in the city.

As a proactive measure and to provide safety among the students and personnel, the City Mayor ordered the suspension of FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, in the City on AUGUST 2, 2024, FRIDAY.

This order permits the use of online or any applicable learning modality so as not to hamper the students’ education.

"Hindi ka basta Bakla LANG, Bakla ka"

They typically used "LANG" if you are not enough or good to them. It hurts, when they always say "BAKLA KA LANG AT WALA KANG MARARATING SA BUHAY" sobrang sakit. But all those hurtful words and judgements marks in my mind to think that someday I can reach all of my what ifs in life. I want to show them how hard like a stone is my heart, na kahit ilang martilyo ang gamitin patuloy itong magiging matatag at buo. Come to think of it, how "BAKLA KA LANG" turns into "BAKLA KA" because if you really want to prove something then you must trust yourself.

Almost everyday I think how hard my life is, being judged with people around me. Being "BAKLA LANG" na nais lamang maging mapayapa ang buhay. I always think how life is being unfair but I put in my mind that someday all those acquisitions that hurts me will become the life I always dream.

One of my weakness is my Gender Identity, Bakit hindi nalang ako pinanganak na tunay na babae o tunay na lalake edi mas magiging madali ang buhay, hindi siguro ako nasasaktan ng ganito. I was wrong thinking all those words that really affect me. I learned that, gender identity doesn't important. What matters the most is being a good person.

To all my KALAHI out there wag niyong i "LANG" ang inyong mga sarili. Sinasabi nga nila na Gulatin mo sila, ipakita mo kung sino ka. Show them how brave and capable you are in many aspects in life. Hindi tayo magpapasakit sa kanilang panlalait for today's video. Mas kilala natin ang ating mga sarili. We must believe in ourselves in order for us to be better and strong.

I know this is not the end, but the beginning of longer road to walk. Marami pa akong lalabanan at papatunayan pa. But this achievement is one of the most unforgettable goals in life. Having a bachelor's degree isang patunay na hindi lang tayo basta "BAKLA LANG", "BAKLA KA AT MARAMI KA PANG KAYANG PATUNAYAN."
