Dear NPCMSTians,
We come together to bid farewell to our beloved FOUNDER and CHAIRMAN, ENGINEER ARTURO C.QUINTO , who has profoundly impacted our institution. His steadfast commitment, motivational guidance, and sincere empathy have made a lasting mark on each of us. During his time in office, he promoted the principles of education, honesty, and community, creating a supportive setting for both students and staff to excel.
Established in 1979, the Northern Philippines Maritime and Technical Institute (NPMTI) was founded as a sole proprietorship by Engr. Arturo C. Quinto. In 1988, the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the transition of NPMTI to the Northern Philippines College for Maritime and Technology Studies, Inc. This change aimed to elevate the institution to a higher educational level, leading to its current identity as the Northern Philippines College for Maritime, Science and Technology, Inc. This transformation was made possible through the hard work and dedication of our Founder and Chairman, Engr. Arturo C. Quinto.
Our Chairman's vision extended beyond the classroom, encouraging us to dream big and strive for excellence in all our endeavors. He was a mentor, a guide, and a friend to many, always ready with a kind word or a piece of advice. His legacy is not only in the physical improvements of our school but also in the hearts and minds he touched along the way.
As we mourn for his loss, let us also celebrate the remarkable life he led and the positive change he inspired. We are grateful for the time we had with him and for the many ways he enriched our lives. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us to lead with kindness, pursue knowledge, and support one another.
FAREWELL, OUR DEAR FOUNDER and CHAIRMAN,
ENGINEER ARTURO C.QUINTO.
You will be deeply missed
You will always be remembered
