Here at Sanctum Home Care, we do not just treat people inside the facility. We also make them get involved in programs outside as we apply our slogan "WE HEAL AS ONE".

Recently, our residents helped us repack the goods given by some families as part of the activity.

We are very blessed to be invited by the San Jose Batangas LGU as part of their Outreach Program this afternoon. We were overwhelmed to have witnessed this beautiful project full of laughter, games, and gift-giving.

This program would not be possible without the help of all the families who extended a hand to us. Our heartfelt gratitude. Sending our gratitude too, to Mayor Ben Patron, Vice Mayor Renji Arcilla, Councilor Vanessa Patron, Councilor Japoy Guce, MSWD Head Ma'am Dulcesima B. Sollestre (whom we have personally met today), Ms. Kathleen Mercado, all the other councilors, and all the people behind this program.

This activity aimed to provide joy and exercise the creativity of the residents. It boosted the self-esteem of the residents as they wore their crowns. In this art therapy, the crown symbolizes their progress in building themselves, especially to improve their self-esteem. It represents their rewards for their aspirations whether in big or small wins. Through this, it reminded them of their goal, which is to achieve betterment. 👑

Aside from the treatments and therapeutic activities applied to the residents, they are also taught practical life skills they can use whenever needed and wherever life takes them.

BFP San Jose led by FO2 Jose Alfonso Lopez and FO1 Renz Mercado, FO1 Darwin Magnaye along with their interns conducted the Annual Fire and Safety Lecture, Orientation, and Demo to residents and staff to arm them with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with fire-related emergencies. Residents actively participated in the demonstration and bravely took out the fire under close supervision of the BFP firemen.

Our residents actively participated in the “Wheel of Sanctum” which also encouraged alertness, teamwork, and healthy competition. Every correctly answered question guaranteed a celebration among each team. 🥳

Our Christmas decoration activity was a joyful success, with residents creating personalized ornaments for our Sanctum Christmas Tree during their Art Therapy.
