The Department of Trade and Industry thru Negosyo Center San Jose was successfully conducted a Technology Transfer on Smoked Fish Processing to the Members of the PAKIBA Association in San Jose, Northern Samar on September 15 & 16, 2022 at Barangay Hall, Brgy. P. Tingzon, San Jose, Northern Samar.
This Training is to provide the participants an opportunity to introduce a new product line in the locality, aims to capacitate the participants with skills on Smoked Bangus Processing intended for their additional livelihood activity. The trained resource person is Ms. Annelie Siervo, Instructor of College Agriculture and the seminar on costing and pricing and product branding will be facilitated by Miss Joemarie Gallano, TIDS Carp and Miss Michelle E. Gallenero, NCBC-San Jose.
The Department of Trade and Industry thru Negosyo Center San Jose was successfully conducted a Technology Transfer on Bagoong Processing with Seminar on Costing and Pricing and Product Branding to P. Tingzon Fisherfolks Association on September 1, 2022 at Barangay Hall, Brgy. P. Tingzon, San Jose, Northern Samar.
In partnership of LGU San Jose through Hon. Damian T. Luzon, Jr., Municipal Mayor.
This Training is to provide the beneficiaries with new livelihood opportunities and encourage them to establish their own MSMEs. The trained resource person is Mrs. Erlinda Ballesta and the seminar on costing and pricing and product branding will be facilitated by NC Business Counsellor Michelle E. Gallenero.
The Department of Trade and Industry thru Negosyo Center San Jose was successfully conducted a Entrepreneurial Development Training on Product Branding and Digital Marketing with Financial Literacy Seminar to Youth Entrepreneurs of San Jose, Northern Samar on August 26, 2022 at Senior Citizen Building, San Jose, Northern Samar.
This Seminar contribute to the attainment of the national goal to promote entrepreneurship, support entrepreneurs, encourage the establishment of MSMEs and ensure their continuing viability and growth. The Resource Speaker is Miss Alyzza Mae B. Cebreiros, NCBC Lavezares.
The Department of Trade and Industry thru Negosyo Center San Jose was successfully distributed a Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP) - Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (NSB) Program in partnership with LGU San Jose, Northern Samar on August 30, 2022.

DTI-NSPO Provincial Director Mimosa B. Regis awarded the Plaque of Recognition for the Cities and Municipalites Competitiveness Index - Top 2 Most Improved Municipality in the 5th to 6th Class Municipalites to the Local Government Unit of San Jose which was received by Municipal Mayor Clarence E. Dato.
To kickstart the 2022 CMCI Survey, an orientation was also conducted to the LGU San Jose Department Heads, Staff, and Representatives as well as the presentation of 2021 CMCI survey result.

The Municipality of San Jose has been awarded by the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as the Top 2 in the Most Improved LGU in Class 5 to 6 Municipalities during the 9th Regional Competitiveness Summit.
CMCI is an annual ranking developed by the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) through the Regional Competitiveness Committees (RCCs) with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to stimulate competition among Local Government Units (LGUs).
Rankings of Cities and Municipalities are based on the sum of their scores on Four Pillars: Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, and Resiliency.

The Department of Trade and Industry, thru Negosyo Center San Jose, and the LGU-San Jose, thru the MSWDO, successfully conducted the Technology Transfer on Fish Processing and Spanish Style Bangus Production to the members of the PWD Association in San Jose.
Confidence was boosted as the trainer, President of the PAKIBA Association, Ms. Edith Villocero, created opportunities to the PWD members where they were able to develop skills and showcase capabilities despite their disability.
Seen in photos are their finished outputs: Spanish Style Bangus and Calamansi-Garlic Deboned Bangus. To establish sustainability, the members decided to continue the production to provide market-quality products.

The Department of Trade and Industry, through its Negosyo Center San Jose, successfully conducted the Technology Transfer on Banana Chips Production with Seminar on Costing and Pricing and 5S of Good Housekeeping to the members of Cassava Farmers Association and Brgy. Aguadahan Women's Association. We extend our gratitude to Brgy. Aguadahan Captain, Kap. Liza Esidera, for the usual support, and our resource speaker, Ms. Glenda Romero, for sharing her knowledge to our participants.
The primary goal of the training is to equip the participants with additional skills to provide them with alternative means of income and to maximize the abundance of bananas in the barangay. Additionally, it aims to produce quality and innovative banana chips that can be brought to trade fairs and could help boost the promotion of the Municipality of San Jose.
We look forward to providing you with more skills through trainings initiated by DTI!

Negosyo Center San Jose conducted Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay: DTI Programs and Services Orientation with Entrepreneurial Development Training at Barangay Gengarog, San Jose, Northern Samar.
NSB is an initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry to help those who are in less developed areas be more informed of the services offered by the agency.
It also aims to provide the MSMEs of the barangays with appropriate intervention that would maximize the abundant natural resources in the area.
