𝗠𝗮𝗚𝗔𝗻𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆!

Today, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) participated in a Gender Awareness and Development (GAD) event held on November 9, 2024 at San Jose City National High School PAG-ASA gym with theme "MaGAnDang Buhay" and each participant gained various lessons and knowledge.

Rebecca M. Almazan, PhD, School Principal II, delivered a speech on Personal Development, with the theme "Raise The Bar: Improving personal skills for professional relationships" this morning. She discussed various ways of socializing, communicating, and handling situations properly.

This provided an opportunity for the youth and teachers' to learn and gain knowledge on important issues such as gender awareness, proper communication, and personal development.

In continuation, the event kicked off with fun icebreakers and games to boost everyone's energy. The afternoon resource speaker Raqueliza A. Agapito-Santos, LLB, delivered an insightful presentation on the Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act 11313) and other relevant laws in the Philippine.

Project Pagkalma, a mental health seminar facilitated by DFSSLG, was held at Library Hub, San Jose City, last October 29, 2024. SSLG, BKD, and YES-O officers from different schools in San Jose City gathered as the learner participants of the seminar.

It was not just an ordinary seminar, the officers gained new knowledge, and new friends! It was not just filled with lessons and learnings, but fun activities too! Officers had the chance to meet, interact, and bond with each other!

We congratulate DFSSLG for the successful event. 🙌 We're grateful for this type of mind escape caravan, as we had the chance to at least enjoy for a while. 😉

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Ma'am Rachel T. Galapon took the opportunity to present the Division Federated SSLG, YES-O, and BKD Officers during the Project Pagkalma. The officers also took their oath as the newly elected Division Federated officers.

Division of San Jose's SSLG, YES-O & BKD Officers, gathered today as the Learner Participants of Project Pagkalma, a division-wide mental health seminar.

Classes are still suspended tomorrow, October 25, 2024, due to continuous heavy rains and flooding. Please stay safe, avoid unnecessary travel, and keep updated with further announcements from local authorities.
