Nothing, whatsoever, can change the truth that we have become God's children when we accepted Jesus Christ into our lives. Not Satan's lies, nor the world's views of the matter can dissolve the truth that God has so loved us and made us heirs of His eternal kingdom.
Of all creations, we are the most important to God! Nothing in the whole universe comes near. We can be sure that He is watching over us day and night and taking care of our every need. For if God gave His One and Only Son for our sake, what is there that He cannot give?
Wisdom is knowledge applied. It is doing what we know is good and right. True wisdom is seen, not heard. May our lives always show wisdom that comes from knowing our Lord Jesus Christ.
Come, let us humble ourselves before God. Let us take our troubles and helplessness to Him who is able to do the impossible for our sake. Come, let us take refuge in His abounding love and comfort in His eternal promises. We are blessed, indeed, for we have found our hope and salvation only in Jesus!
When Jesus first came into the world, He came as a Savior, the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. But a time is surely coming when Jesus will return as a Judge and King, the Lion of the tribe of Judah who will punish the nations for their unbelief. Let us turn to God today, for His Word never fails!
Since the day we let Jesus come into our lives as our Lord and Savior, He has been working in us so that we could grow more and more like Him each day. He has allowed trials and difficulties to come our way so that our faith could be tested. For the testing of our faith is necessary for us to develop endurance through which we could be made perfect and complete.
The Lord looked at David's heart and there found faith in the one true God. So the Lord made Him the next king of Israel.
It is our heart that the Lord searches, the person inside us, not our outward appearance. So let’s work on making our heart beautiful in God’s eye. Outward beauty will soon fade, but our faith in the Lord will take us to eternity with Him.
Let us pray, not with words spoken only by our lips, but with words expressed by our hearts in faith. And the Lord will answer our prayers. For the Lord is pleased with every prayer offered in faith.
But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7, NIV)
Reflect:
1. Is giving for the Lord’s people and His ministries important to me?
2. Do I give out of love, or as a fulfillment of my duty?
3. How can I excel in the grace of giving?
Resolve: Apostle Paul urged excellence, not only in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in enthusiasm, and in love, but also in giving. Giving for the Lord’s people and His ministries must be as much important as all these. Therefore, it must be so to me as well. Excellence in giving does not mean giving the largest amount or giving beyond my ability to give. It is eagerly giving according to what I have, or to what I am given by God, since all I have comes from Him. It is giving wholeheartedly out of love for my Lord and for my brethren, and not just because it is my duty. For giving eagerly as much as I can reflects how much I trust and love my God
God is the Almighty God; nothing is too hard for Him to do. He is the Sovereign God in whom all things hold together. He is the God we can fully trust, the God who is in complete control of our situations and does all things according to His perfect will.

It could have been a perfect day for Jimmy, except that he's now stuck on a jeep with a flat tire, and about to miss an important meeting. He should have taken the other jeep, he thought sourly to himself. At last, his jeep was ready to go. About a kilometer farther, they passed by an accident. A jeep crashed into a trailer, and the passengers were taken to the nearest hospital. To his great shock, it was the jeep he missed earlier. As they moved away, he prayed for the passengers and thanked God he was safe.

Misunderstandings and confusions often lead to conflicts among people, even among people who love one another. That is why the Bible commands us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. If we could only try to listen first, and think first before we say anything, and not let our emotions control us, we could spare ourselves from a lot of troubles.

Do you feel tired of the life you have? Are your burdens so heavy that you feel like giving up? Jesus invites you to come to Him. He offers to take the load off your shoulders and carry them for you. For He alone can give you rest and peace that you've been longing for. So come to Him and lay everything down at His feet.
As true believers of Christ, we have peace that comes from our faith that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. May the peace of God reign in our lives, not only when everything seems well, but at all times, even amidst stormy situations.
Forgiving others when they sin against us reflects how we acknowledge the weight of our sins against God and appreciate the magnitude of the forgiveness that God has bestowed upon us. Let God's love and forgiveness heal our wounds and help us forgive others, too.
