The San Juan City local government proudly recognized 33 San Juan students for winning medals at the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad – Heat Round held on Oct. 23.

September 4-9, 2022, those were the dates when the Youth Commission on Elections and Appointments (COMEA) planned and executed their plan for the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Elections that took place last September 8 and 9, 2022. First, on September 4, 2022, the Youth COMEA volunteers and advisers had a meeting for the upcoming SSG Elections. The first thing they did was to elect officers in order to have an easier way of dividing tasks. Afterwards, they scheduled what they will do for the next few days of the week. It was also the final day for the filing of the candidate's Certificate of Candidacy (COC) and the formation of partylists; the T.A.L.A. and L.E.A.D.E.R.S. partylist.

September 5-7, 2022, was the scheduled date of campaigning for the candidates in the upcoming election. These are the dates where they try to persuade the students into voting them and their partylist members. They visited the rooms one-by-one and told their platforms or plans for the school in every room that they had visited.

September 8-9, 2022, were the dates of the SSG Elections in San Juan City Academic Senior High School for the academy year 2022-2023. On the first day, the Youth COMEA officers and advisers executed an introduction before the actual start of the election. They had an opening prayer, a nationalistic song, opening remarks, telling the guidelines and mechanics as the students vote, and closing remarks, before the students were able to vote in the assigned space. The Youth COMEA officers hosted the event while the marshals helped the event to proceed properly without much disruptions.

After an extensive amount of efforts by the San Juan City Academic Senior High School Youth COMEA, in this School Year’s 2022-2023 SSG Elections, the tally of votes from the 456 students who voted have concluded with some winners in both partylist. For the position of SSG President, Jonalyn E. Hidalgo of the L.E.A.D.E.R.S. Partylist won this position after having a total of 366 votes out of 456 voting students, together with her partylist's candidate for the position of Vice President, Jon Anmae Abrera, who also won with a total of 398 votes. On the other hand, the winner for the position of SSG secretary was of another partylist, T.A.L.A., Kanna Marie O. Castro with a total of 229 votes. Moving on, the winners for Treasurer, Auditor, P.I.O. and P.O. were Andrea Jodi T. Morada (277 votes), Cheryll Vyne Pabilona (282 votes), Geramae Tiamson Ricafrente (224 votes), and Jose Raymund A. Robles (354 votes).

For the representatives of each strand, most votes were considered invalid as the Youth COMEA officers encountered students voting for the representatives of other strands. Still, even with this predicament, the voting still continued and concluded with winners. For the ABM strand, the winner was Anica Ramos with a total of 70 votes. Next, for the GAS strand, the winner was LJ M. Embaheno with a total of 54 votes. Then, for the HUMSS strand, the winner was Charyll Van O. Pabilona with a total of 73 votes. Lastly, for the winner of the STEM strand, without any opponent to face, Alexander Wayne E. Tanay achieved this position with a total of 46 votes.

According to the Constitution & By-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government & Supreme Student Government in Elementary & Secondary Schools; DepEd Order No. 48 s. 2014 it stipulated the functions of SSG officers are follows
