530 Million...ang mga kabataan sa buong mundo na mayroon tooth decay sa kanilang "milk teeth" o " primary teeth"

10%...Sampung porsyento ng populasyon sa daigdig ang may "Severe Periodontal Disease" o sakit sa gilagid ( gums) na sanhi ng paglagas ng mga ngipin.

Sa pagsapit ng Pasko, kaliwa't kanan na naman ang mga parties, kainan at kasiyahan lalo pa't pinapayagan na ang mga pagtitipon sa ilang mga lugar.

Paala sa ating lahat- - maging maingat.
Sundin ang mga protocol at huwag kalimutan ang ORAL HEALTH, mga netizens.

1. Masaya mag party, pero iwas muna sa yosi. Sakit sa gilagid, may mantsang mga ngipin at bad breath ang dulot ng paninigarilyo.
2. Kain dito, kain doon... pero pass muna sa madaming sugar, kapatid! Anumang sobra ay nakasasama.
3. Tagay ba? Alam niyo ba na ang acid at sugar content ng alak ay maaring magdulot ng tooth decay.
4. Tubig is the key! Simpleng pag-inom ng sapat na dami ng tubig ay malaki ang ambag sa magandang Oral Health.

Happy First Birthday,Baby! Saan ang party?

Kapag lumabas na ang unang ngipin ni Baby, kailangan nang linisin ang ngipin at bibig dalawang beses sa isang araw. Bago matulog si Baby sipilyuhin ang ngipin ng may kaunting FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE. Gaano ka-kaunti ? Ang toothpaste ay dapat 'sing liit ng butil ng bigas!

Bumisita na dentista sa unang labas ng ngipin, bago ang kanyang UNANG kaawaran.

Turuan na si Baby na uminom mula sa tasa sa kanyang first birthday. Makakatulong ito sa kanyang "sipping skills " ( paghigop) at sa kanyang mga ngipin.

Tunay na kaaya-ayang pagmasdan ang unang ngiti, unang tawa at paghikab ni baby.... kahit wala pa itong mga ngipin.

Ngunit alam niyo ba na dapat magsimula na ang oral hygiene ni baby kahit wala pang ngipin?

Ang mga gilagid ni baby ang siyang poprotekta sa mga ugat ng kanyang unang mga ngipin, kaya ito ay dapat linisin.
Kumuha ng malinis na tela o wash cloth o gasa. Basain ito at marahang linisin ang gilagid at dila ni baby pagkatapos niyang uminom ng gatas at bago matulog.

Sundin ang mga munting payo, para kalusugan ni baby laging panalo!
