It is the environment where organisms, species, or community of animals make their home, a natural comfort zone. Where it meets all the environmental conditions of what an organism needs to survive, needs such as food, water, and shelter. 🍃
Destruction of habitat is one of the most devastating environmental problems all around the world. Habitat loss is a critical threat to biodiversity. It increases the risks of species extinction. Human activities are the primary cause by which natural habitat becomes incapable of supporting its native species. These organisms that previously inhabited the site are displaced or dead, reducing biodiversity and species abundance. Habitat destruction, habitat degradation, habitat fragmentation, deforestation, land conversion, oil spills, mining, urbanization, dynamite fishing, construction of aquaculture, and even climate change have caused the disappearance of natural environments where plants, animals, and other organisms live.
As years go by, environmental problems are frightening. People need to be aware of the grave implications of their activities towards the environment. We need to be aware of how we are going to prevent habitat loss and protect biodiversity. Biodiversity helps us with providing for our needs and this also helps our nature and our environment to remain sustainable despite the destruction of people. It provides us with medicine, food, energy, and water.
Let us live our lives with a purpose and everything will live in peace and harmony where unwanted circumstances cannot grow and foster. Let's make our world a safe and secure environment for everyone. 🌎
