Mariing iminumungkahi ng DOST-PHIVOLCS na maigting na ipagbawal ang pagpasok ng sinuman sa TVI, na siyang Permanent Danger Zone o PDZ ng Bulkang Taal, lalung-lalo na sa may gawi ng Main Crater at ng Daang Kastila fissure, at ang paninirahan at pamamangka sa lawa ng Taal. Ang mga lokal na pamahalaan ay hinihikayat na patuloy na suriin at pagtibayin ang kahandaan ng mga dati nang nilikas na barangay sa paligid ng Lawa ng Taal kung sakali mang magkaroon ng panibagong pag-aalburoto ang bulkan. Ang mga may-katungkulan sa civil aviation ay nararapat na humikayat sa mga piloto na iwasang magpalipad malapit sa bulkan dahil sa naglilipanang abo at umiitsang bato na maaaring idulot ng isang biglaang pagputok ng bulkan.
