Happening Now: Barangay San Vicente - State of the Barangay Address for the 2nd Semester of CY 2024

Early this morning we made a quick visit sa mga evacuation centers ng ating barangay para kamustahin at makapag-abot ng gamot at pagkain sa mga nasalanta ng Bagyong Kristine. Together with Konsehal Gius Castasus, Kagawad Emman L. Berroya, Kons Jojo Alvarez, at iba pang mga staffs ng Barangay San Vicente, tayo po ay patuloy na naglilingkod sa abot ng ating makakaya.

Tayo po ay nagpapasalamat sa mga volunteers na walang pagod na nag-asikaso sa ating mga evacuees. Saludo po kami sa inyo, nawa'y bumalik po sainyo ang mga blessings ng siksik, liglig, at umaapaw.

There's a quote that I've read from Malcolm Turnbull saying that we should learn from every natural disaster. Whether it is a fire or flood, may we learn something from it so we can respond to the next one better. We are hoping na after this, our barangay will be more prepared against calamities and we will be more united in bringing hope and support to our community. 🙏💪
