Pumanaw na sa edad na 80 ang batikang writer-director at comic strip creator na si Carlo J. Caparas. Inanunsyo ito ng kanyang anak na si Peach Caparas sa isang Facebook post kagabi, May 25, 2024.

Nakilala si Caparas sa mga nilikhang Pinoy superhero at karakter sa komiks na sina Panday, Bakekang, Joaquin Bordado, Kamandag, at Gagambino.

Nakatakdang itayo ang ikalawang pinakamalaki na International Container Terminal sa Pilipinas sa bayan ng Bauan, Batangas bago magtapos ang taon ng 2027.

Ayon sa International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI), pinag-aaralan na ang disenyo at engineering procedures nito na isasagawa sa pagsisimula ng konstruksiyon sa unang quarter ng taong 2025.

Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Rolando Ledesma Macasaet today urged Filipino workers to be vigilant and regularly check if their contribution records are updated as the SSS pursued delinquent employers nationwide.

Macasaet led the simultaneous Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) operation, which called on more than 1,200 employers nationwide to settle their contribution delinquencies, amounting to over P335 million and affecting the social security coverage of nearly 19,000 employees.
