BUY-BUST OPERATION RESULTED TO DEATH OF THE SUSPECT AND WOUNDING OF THE AGENT

Operatives of PDEA Regional Office IV-A Batangas Provincial Office, Seaport Interdiction Unit-Batangas, and Balayan Municipal Police Station conducted a joint buy-bust operation which resulted to the death of suspect Michael Maningat y Del Rosario alias Choi, ranked number 10 in the Regional Target Listed drug personality and the arrest of Deejeff Rodriguez y Taroza on November 20, 2023 at 4:30 in the afternoon.

At about 4:30 in the afternoon, operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at Barangay Uno, Balayan, Batangas, and were able to confiscate more or less 20 grams of suspected shabu worth Php136,000.00, buy-bust money, caliber .22 and seven (7) live ammunitions.

During the drug transaction, suspect Maningat had a scuffle with the PDEA Operatives to escape which resulted in an accidental firing hitting the suspect in the right abdomen, and the Agent in his lower abdomen. They were immediately brought to the nearest hospital for treatment but the suspect died while the Agent was still recovering from his injuries.

Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

REGIONAL TARGET LISTED DRUG PERSONALITIES ARRESTED DURING DRUG OPS BY PDEA AND PNP

Two successful buy-bust operations were conducted by joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office IV-A and local police which resulted to the arrest of regional target listed drug personalities on November 17, 2023.

At about 7:20 in the evening, PDEA RO IV-A Special Enforcement Unit, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Santa Rosa City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Labas, Santa Rosa City, Laguna, that led to the arrest of suspect Paul Ochoa y De Luna alias Kule, 40, male, married, welder. Confiscated during the operation were more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu worth Php340,000.00 and buy-bust money.

At about 8:40 in the evening, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office (PO), PDEA RO IV-B Romblon PO and Bacoor City Police Station arrested Edwin Cuevas y Ret alias Erwin, alleged drug den maintainer, Joel Emocling y Cañedo and Chris Orlan Gabaldon during a buy-bust operation which resulted in the confiscation of more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu, various drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money and the discovery and dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Mabolo III, Bacoor City, Cavite.

Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects who are now in the custody of PDEA RO IV-A Jail Facility in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

Drug-Free Workplace Program Implementation in all PDEA RO IV-A personnel

To ensure the public of effective and efficient government service and public officers remain drug-free, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office IV-A headed by DIR III BRYAN B BABANG, Regional Director, conducted a mandatory drug testing today, November 6, 2023 at Barangay Sinalhan, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

This is in pursuant to Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and DDB Regulation No 13, Series of 2018, "Establishment and Institutionalization of Drug-Free Workplace Program in all government offices, including the conduct of authorized drug testing for elective local officials and appointive public officers and for other purposes"

Any personnel found positive for use of dangerous drugs after the conduct of confirmatory test shall be subjected to disciplinary/administrative proceedings with a penalty of dismissal from the service at first offense.

DRUG DEN MAINTAINER, FOUR OTHERS ARRESTED DURING BUY-BUST OP

On October 25, 2023 at 7:20 PM, joint elements of PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Bacoor City Police Station- SDEU conducted a joint buy-bust operation leading to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den at Barangay Talaba V, Bacoor City, Cavite and the arrest of five drug personalities including the suspected drug den maintainer identified as Alyen Abrantes y Aledia, 41, female, single.

Four other drug personalities arrested were identified as Sevilla Orestes y Cantado alias Toto; John Rosete alias Jan-jan; Cornelio Bustamante Jr., y Inosente alias Tax and Frederick Llarenas y Morales alias Frederick.

Confiscated during the operation were more or less 12 grams of suspected shabu worth Php81,600.00, buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.

Cases for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.

DRUG DEN DISCOVERED AND DISMANTLED BY PDEA AND PNP THREE ARRESTED

A joint buy-bust operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA Laguna Provincial Office (PO), PDEA Cavite PO, and Bacoor City Police Station which resulted in the discovery and dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Niog III, Bacoor City, Cavite, and the arrest of three (3) drug personalities on October 20, 2023 at 1:00 in the morning.

Suspects were identified as Christopher Flores y Santos; Clarence Lumaban y Eseol and Joshua Kalinga y Macalinao.

Operatives seized from the suspects more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu worth Php102,000.00, more or less one (1) gram of suspected ma*****na worth Php120.00, buy-bust money, and various drug paraphernalia.

Suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

REGIONAL TARGET LISTED DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED DURING BUY-BUST OPS

On October 19, 2023 at 4:45 in the afternoon, Drug Enforcement Officers of PDEA Rizal Provincial Office conducted a buy-bust operation leading to the arrest of a high-value target identified as Alvin Casicas y Ponciano, 47, male, single, tricycle driver.

Confiscated during the operation were more or less 5 grams of suspected ma*****na worth Php600.00 and buy-bust money.

A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Article II of The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.

6.8M WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED IN PASAY CITY

On October 11, 2023 at 1:10 PM, joint operatives of the PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team, PDEA RO- National Capital Region, PASAY City Police Station Substation 5, PNP PDEG SOU-NCR and NCR RDEU conducted buy-bust operation in Barangay 76, Pasay City.

Operatives identified the arrested suspects as Khalid Andrada y Binauhan alias Jim, Kenn Andrada y Binauhan, Asima Lakman y Omar and Albaina Pudong y Aman.

More or less one kilogram of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php6,800,000.00 and buy-bust money were seized from the suspects.

Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

DRUG BUY-BUST LED TO THE DISMANTLING OF A DRUG DEN IN LUCENA CITY

On October 6, 2023 at 9:15 PM joint elements of PDEA Quezon Provincial Office (PO), PDEA RO IV-B Marinduque PO and Lucena City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Isabang, Lucena City which led in the discovery and dismantling of a drug den being maintained by suspect Ruel Lopez y Riano and the subject of the operation and seizure of more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php102,000.00, buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.

Operatives arrested two other drug personalities identified as Joshua Pascua y Romano alias Brod and Christopher Marasigan y Quejano.

Appropriate charges for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

BDCP Updates!

The Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program convened on October 3, 2023, 9:00 AM via Zoom. The meeting was presided by Director III Bryan B Babang, RD, PDEA RO IV-A and Chairperson of the ROCBDCP and attended by the member agencies authorized representatives: LGO II James Carl F Torres, DILG 4A; SHPO Ma Theresa Y Malubag, DOH 4A; PCol Vincent Templo, PNP RO IV-A; PADAC Representatives, BADAC and PDEA Provincial Officers and Provincial Drug Clearing Officers.

As a result of the deliberation, 20 drug affected barangays were declared Drug-Cleared while 38 previously declared as drug-cleared were able to retain their Drug-Cleared Status, one (1) barangay was certified as Drug-Free Barangay and two (2) were issued with Certificate of Inventory of Drug Personality (CIDP).

6.8M WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED DURING ANTI-DRUG OPERATION IN PARAÑAQUE CITY

Six million eight hundred thousand pesos (Php6,800,000.00) worth of shabu were seized during a joint anti-drug operation conducted by operatives of PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team, PDEA NCR-Southern District Office, Parañaque Substation 6 and PNP PDEG SOU NCR.

On October 2, 2023 at 1:30 PM, authorities conducted buy-bust operation at a parking lot of a mall in Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque City which resulted in the arrest of Norhana Maulana y Sulay, 33, female, married, ukay-ukay vendor and a resident of Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.

Operatives were able to confiscate more or less 1000 grams of suspected shabu worth 6.8M and buy-bust money.

Appropriate charges for violation of Article II of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.

Sinalhan, Santa Rosa City- PDEA Regional Office IV-A thru RBDCP and PECI Section hosted the regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on October 2, 2023 at PDEA RO IV-A Conference Room in Barangay Sinalhan, Santa Rosa City, Laguna .

DRUG DEN DISMANTLED BY PDEA AND PNP, THREE DRUG PERSONALITIES ARRESTED

On September 30, 2023 at around 2:50 in the morning PDEA Quezon Provincial Office, PDEA Marinduque Provincial Office and Lucena City Police Station conducted a joint buy-bust operation which led to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of three drug personalities in Barangay Mayao Parada, Lucena City, Quezon.

The suspects were identified as Hilario Aquino y Tomas alias Balot, alleged drug den maintainer, Felix Laguerra y Dudas and John Philip Surio.

Confiscated from the suspects were more or less 10 grams of of suspected shabu worth Php68,000.00, various drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.

Appropriate charges for violating Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

DRUG DEN DISCOVERED AND DISMANTLED BY PDEA AND PNP

A drug den was discovered and dismantled by operatives of PDEA Laguna Provincial Office (PO), PDEA Cavite PO and Bacoor City Police Station on September 29, 2023 at about 10:00 in the evening during a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Niog III, Bacoor City, Cavite.

The operation resulted in the arrest of four (4) drug personalities identified as an Gino Dela Torre y Valerio, Roman Cruz y Diaz, Rudy Austrial y Arinda, and Emilio Emonaga y Rosales.

More or less 15 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php102,000.00, various drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money were seized from the suspects.

Cases for violation of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

DRUG BUY-BUST IN TAGUIG CITY YIELDS MORE OR LESS 50 GRAMS OF SHABU

On September 28, 2023 at 12:30 in the afternoon, joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team, PDEA NCR-RSET 1 and Taguig City Police Station conducted an entrapment operation in-front of a mall in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City which resulted in the arrest of the suspects tagged as high-value drug personalities and confiscation of suspected shabu.

Suspects were identified as Kim Kim Dimalanin y Pungampung alias Gani and Mansor Bualan y Padao.

Confiscated from the suspects were more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu worth Php345,000.00 and a buy-bust money.

Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

Adbokasya LABan sa Iligal na Droga-Training of Trainers

Batangas City- PDEA Regional Office IV-A in partnership with the Batangas Provincial Office thru Provincial Assistance for Community Development conducted a Two-Day Training of Trainers of PADAC/CADAC/MADAC Focal Persons and City/Municipal Health Officers held on September 20-21, 2023 at Dalubhasaan Building, Barangay Bolbok, Batangas City, Batangas.

The ALAB-TOT support activities to Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP) and Prevention Program with the purpose on empowering advocates in the implementation of BDCP, Advocacy and Drug-Free Workplace Program.
