SmokeHouse Diner was stablished out of passion in cooking. The owners happens to be life partners as well has a strong drive in cooking and food preparation. Dhey Nañola who is by profession a Marketing Manager of a well stablished hospital in the area also has a strong delectable palate. A natural cook from the family strong influence from the Bicol and Visayas Region. Her formal cooking lesson was hurled from her secondary education from Jacobo Z, Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trade in Biñan, Laguna where she took up 3 years of Vocational Food Trade course during her high school years. Dhey was trained by skillful instructor and been part in the perfection of the now famous P**o Pau of Biñan and even made a high school project of Asado Pau now known as Toasted Siopao. She took her collegiate study in PUP and took BS Chemistry and 2nd Course of Medical Technology in preparation for medical school. Persistent to her passion she just took her cooking skill among her family and circle of friends during gathering and events. Till Dhey meet her life partner and now her business partner as well, Marilyn Antones. This woman is extra ordinary, a single mother of two she was determined to bring up her son into this world all by herself. Lyn to most of us is the 3rd among 5 siblings, a daughter of a coconut farmer from San Francisco, Quezon. She grow up to be a determined and persistent individual. Got her college and took up Elementary Education in Rizal Technological Institute. She failed to finish her degree due to hardship and she had to work to help her family. She took several job experience during her early years. She had her family at the age of 22 but in a short period of time the marriage did not work out and she had no choice but to go back home with her son and help out in farming their land. 2013 she had an opportunity to work abroad as a domestic helper were it open the door for her to learn and prepare Arabian and Mediterranean food. Dhey and Lyn are good friends met through a common friend from the US. Both had some rough time from their past relationship but had surpassed it all with head held up high as they knew it was never their lost in their failed relationship. Their friendship grew and flourish as they decided to tie-the-knot in marriage last June 26, 2016 for Rite to Union at the LGBT Christian Church in Quezon City. They not only shouted to the whole world their relationship but they also profess their love before God. Nearly a month and half Aug 10, Dhey and Lyn open up their SmokeHouse Diner and together they mix and prepare their barbeque out of love and enthusiasm to satisfy their client desire.
The barbeque is a choice cut of pork shoulder that is tender and has lean fat slice to perfection and marinated to 10 top spices that is sure scrumptious in every bite you take. We also have marinated pork belly’s that literally melts in your mouth due to the tenderness combine with its optimum cooking temperature that sure the juiciness of the meat. For our beer drinkers and alcoholic fanatic we have prepared pork mask, intestine and liver that will equally serve its purpose to be beer buddies. For health continuous individual there is always a choice between quartered cut marinated grilled chicken, stuff Bangus (milkfish) and Tilapia to satisfy their craving. For kids at heart we are also grilling TJ Jumbo Hotdog and Hamondo Longanisa. We are also looking expand other grilled meat product and seafood item in the near future.
