Empowered and Equipped: SDO Nueva Ecija Leaders’ Academy Presents a New Cohort of School Leaders

PAGCOR Conference Hall - Thirty-two school leaders completed the program, with Ms. Melody Calosa and Mr. Ken Mark Bautista receiving recognition for their outstanding Capstone projects.

SDO Nueva Ecija Leaders’ Academy serves as a foundational onboarding program grounded in the principle that the quality of student learning is closely linked to the effectiveness of teachers, who thrive under the guidance of proficient school leaders. This comprehensive training program has been meticulously crafted with the overarching objectives of:

• Enhancing the competencies of school heads in the effective implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program (BEP) and its associated Programs, Projects, and Activities (PAPs);
• Fostering confidence in school heads, empowering them to fulfill their roles as capable and forward-thinking leaders in the context of their schools; and
• Encouraging a culture of collegial learning, ensuring that school heads actively participate in and learn from their peers in a collaborative setting.

SDO Nueva Ecija Leaders’ Academy is not just a training initiative; it is a dynamic platform dedicated to nurturing leaders proficient in educational methodologies, and who are also equipped to facilitate positive change and innovation within their respective school communities.

SDO Nueva Ecija Primed for Excellence: Earns Prestigious CSC PRIME-HR Bronze Award

Clark Freeport, Pampanga - In a momentous event held yesterday December 12, 2023, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office III, led by Acting Regional Director Atty. Rosalinda A. Tanaliga-Oliva, honored SDO Nueva Ecija with the esteemed bronze award, marking a significant milestone in the organization's journey toward excellence.

The recognition was bestowed upon SDO Nueva Ecija in acknowledgment of its achievement in attaining Maturity Level-II HR systems. Specifically, the commendation encompasses the process-defined implementation of Recruitment, Placement, and Selection (RSP), Performance Management System (PMS), Learning and Development (L&D), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).

Present at the ceremony were notable figures from the CSC team, including PSED Chief Ms. Dyna Marie D. Quimson, PSED AO V Elvin Paul B. Galang, and CSC Field Office in Nueva Ecija Director II Eleanor M. Prado.

The bronze award was formally received by Superintendent Engr. Edgard C. Domingo, alongside key officials from Team Nueva Ecija, including ASDS Mina Gracia L. Acosta, ASDS Ronilo E. Hilario, SGOD Chief Luis M. Calison, CID Chief Jayne M. Garcia, and AO V Orlando C. de Leon.

This distinguished recognition also extends to the remarkable individuals steering the four pivotal HR systems within SDO Nueva Ecija. Mr. Roxer Erwin Garcia and his HRM team were lauded for their contributions to Recruitment, Placement, and Selection (RSP), while Mr. Erwin Donelo and Dr. Mauricio Angeles were acknowledged for their roles in the success of the Performance Management System (PMS). Ms. Irylaine Gapud and Mr. Mark Denisse de Jesus were recognized for their outstanding efforts in Learning and Development (L&D) and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).

The acknowledgment of SDO Nueva Ecija's achievement in these critical HR systems not only signifies organizational excellence but also highlights its commitment to fostering quality public service.

DICT Region 3 Honors Julia Ortiz Luis NHS for Exemplary Support in Advancing ICT Literacy and Competency

San Fernando, Pampanga – Julia Ortiz Luis National High School (JOLNHS) has been recognized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Region 3 (DICT-R3) for its unwavering support and invaluable contribution to the implementation of ICT literacy and competency development programs. The award was bestowed upon the school during the DICT Region 3 Stakeholders Engagement Summit held on December 5, 2023, in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, under the theme: “Igniting Technological Breakthrough: Influencing Digital Era.”

JOLNHS’ dedication to fostering ICT literacy and competency among its students has been exemplary, earning it the esteemed recognition from DICT-R3. The school’s unwavering support for ICT initiatives has significantly contributed to advancing the digital skills of its learners, preparing them for the demands of the increasingly technology-driven world.

Ms. Aurora T. Aguila, School Principal IV, and Mr. Allan C. Custodio, the School ICT Coordinator, proudly received the award on behalf of JOLNHS. They were accompanied by Mr. Roderic S. Tree-mendous Effort: SDO Nueva Ecija Key Officials Lead by Planting Example

ASDS Mina Gracia L. Acosta, ASDS Ronilo E. Hilario, SGOD Chief Luis M. Calison, AO V Orlando C. de Leon, and PSDS Agnes Reyes lent their green thumbs to the tree planting initiative beside the Division Office at the Santa Rosa Integrated School.

This morning, ALS implementers and learners from all 33 districts of SDO Nueva Ecija took part in the tree-planting project, DepEd’s 236,000 Trees - A Christmas Gift for Children.
