Scripture tells us that obeying God and gaining wisdom will grant us a life of peace and happiness. We know that living a sinful lifestyle leads to misery. When we lie or steal, people stop trusting us. When we participate in other sinful activities, our friends begin to separate themselves from us. God focuses on the importance of gaining wisdom to help us make good choices and live in a way that leads us to the light. We must consistently fill our hearts and minds with wisdom provided by scripture

Prayer

Dear Father, we feel powerless against the evil in the world today. Help us rest in the comfort of Your loving arms. We have faith in Your plan. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

INSPIRATION

It’s scary to watch evil prosper in the world today. Often, we watch world events and feel overwhelmed and powerless because there is nothing we can do. There is something we can do. We can pray to our Father and find rest and comfort in the knowledge that all things occur as part of His plan. He is actively abolishing evil in the world. Let us rest our worried minds in the comfort of His mighty hands

Morning prayer

INSPIRATION

Anger is a normal and unavoidable human emotion. We all become angry at one time or another. Our anger is often stirred up when we witness mistreatment of our friends or unfair outcomes in the lives of loved ones. It’s inevitable that we will become angry when people hurt, but we cannot allow anger to control our actions and lead us to sin. Instead of being quick to anger, let us turn our anger over to the Lord.

PRAYER

Dear God, You have created within each of us spiritual gifts to accomplish Your plan. Guide us in discovering the way we can use our gifts for You today. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

lNSPIRATION

Think about the plights of other people. You have heard that you should be nice to all people because everyone is fighting a battle that you don't know about? This verse asks that you consider what others are going through. Carry their burdens as your own, because then you will help them as if you were helping yourself.

Just pray and everything will be fine.

Prayer

Dear God, I thank you that a day will come where I can echo the words of Jesus and say that I have done all that You have required me to do. Lord, I pray that I remain faithful to this cause. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

INSPIRATION

Jesus could say this confidently because He had truly fulfilled everything that God had required Him to do before His crucifixion. A time will come where we will also be confident to say we have done all God has required us to do, provided that we have followed His guidance. Commit your lives to fulfilling the will of God – it's an eternal blessing.

God knows everything about us and more. His plans for us are always for peace and out of love – never for our destruction. God has always been concerned about saving His children, and save His children He did. What a loving Father we have found in the Almighty God.

Dear God, I thank you that Your plans for my life are always to prosper me and for the sake of peace. Thank You, Father, for Your endless love that has saved me. Were it not for Your love, Lord, I do not know where I would be. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear God, give me wisdom to know when I am being led in a foolish direction. Help me to resist the temptation of alcohol today. I know it is not only leads to foolish decisions, it is also dangerous. Give me the courage to turn away from alcohol or anything offering false promises of happiness. You are the only thing that will bring me true fulfillment. Thank you for giving us refuge and courage to battle temptations such as these. Please use me to help others struggling with these temptations, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.

INSPIRATION

Do not be deceived by the party culture. Do not be lured by alcohol. While wine and beer and other alcoholic beverages are popular and promise a good time, more often these drinks make fools of us. Too much alcohol leaves one intoxicated. When someone is intoxicated, he/she does not make wise choices. When we listen to the crowd or the promise of fun or relief alcohol claims, we are being foolish. True relief only comes from faith in Jesus Christ. Ask Him to help you resist the temptation today.

PRAYER

Lord my Almighty Father, I exalt Your name in the highest of Heaven! At your feet, I give my thanks and blessing, and pray that in each and every day, You hear my gratitude. Help me maintain my daily prayers and duty to You Lord, so that I may never stray from Your truth. Amen.

Lord, You deserve more praise than I can give You. I cannot even recount all of the great things You have done. You are great. You created all knowledge. You created the rules of the universe, logic, order, and science. You created math and language. You made our senses so that we can hear, taste, feel, see, and smell Your creation. Thank You, God, for Your creativity and Your greatness. In Jesus' name. Amen.

INSPIRATION

Is anyone able to say all the things the Lord has done? Is anyone able to praise Him as much as He is worthy of being praised? No. But all of creation will sing His praise. Even every man will eventually bow in front of Him. We get to praise Him. Praise the Lord because He is worthy of your praise. Praise Him because He deserves all our praise.

GOD is my STRENGTH

Lord you are always taking care of us, you know our weaknesses, our fears, our concerns thank you for all you do for us.

PRAYER

Lord God, you are the God of wisdom and truth. You know all wisdom and created it. Lord, make me wise. You have set responsibilities before me, and I want to do them well, so give me wisdom on how to complete the task the best I can. You know me. You know the gifts You've given me. I know that I can never have too much wisdom, so make me wise. And always keep me humble because I do not want to be wise and proud. I come to You in Jesus' name. Amen.

Each of us has gifts given to us by God – and he didn't give us anything we couldn't use! People think that gifts have to be things like artistic or musical talents, but patience is a gift; the ability to explain a problem is a gift. These might lead to a vocation as a teacher, or a mechanic. Some are skilled with their hands and others with their minds. Curiosity is the gift of the scientist, as well as perseverance. We need to think outside the box when we think about our gifts and once we figure it out, use them wisely because we all will be called to account one day.

INSPIRATION

Seeking the things of God should be your first priority. When you pursue the things of God, you have put yourself in a place where everything that you require will come. God takes care of His own – He always does. Don't think you are missing out on anything when you are focusing on God – because you truly aren't.

PRAYER

Dear God, I set my mind on you and commit myself to pursuing you and the things of your Kingdom. It is more profitable to chase the things of God than the things of this world. You give life; the world does not. May I always remember this, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
