Dulot ng kahirapan, pandemic, mga bagyo at kalamidad, lumalala ang mga kaso ng gutom at malnutrisyon sa napakaraming pamilya sa Pilipinas. Upang makatulong na malunasan ang nasabing isyu, sinimulan na ngayong buwan ang complementary feeding program ng Sariaya-LGU para sa anim (6) na barangay.

May 120 beneficiaries, o mga batang mababa ang timbang o underweight -- na ang edad ay anim (6) hanggang 23 buwan ang makakasama sa programa.
