Mendez Grapes was started with our late grandfather Luis Decierdo Mendez who was once a Public School Teacher of Sibonga Central Elementary. He cultured grapes and started to propagate the Reisling variety. As demo farm for school children the area was planted with grapes, vegetables, flower among others.
