See you po sa clinic! God bless everyone!

Thank you Cherrie and family for the trust ❤️

We were aiming for a VBAC or vaginal birth after cesarean. However, her last ultrasound showed a low amniotic fluid. After thorough explanation, we decided to have another CS. Good thing for the quick decision because not only her amniotic fluid is low, baby already pooped inside. No antibiotics were given, and both mommy and baby went home healthy!

There are criteria if a woman would wish to have VBAC. Talk to our staff on duty for scheduled appointment at our clinic.

My patient was anxious during her first prenatal check up due to a history of ectopic pregnancy a year prior. There were a number of ultrasounds early on to check if this is an Intrauterine pregnancy. She, on the other hand, is a very good patient. Always on time during prenatal check ups and noting all my advices and vitamins to take. With God’s grace, she carried the baby to term and delivered via repeat cesarean section.

Thank you for the trust, Cristina! God bless your beautiful family ❤️

Uterine Fibroids or MYOMA are common outgrowths of the uetrus. They are not cancer, and almost never turn into cancer.
Some women with myomas dont know they have them because they dont have symptoms at all. However, in patient with symptoms, the following are the most common
- heavy menstrual bleeding
- prolonged vaginal bleeding
- growing stomach area
- difficulty in urination
- constipation
- painful sexual in*******se

If you have the following symptoms, you better consult a gynecologist to assess you.

Dra Sanchez is a board-certified OB Gynecologist whom you can consult for your gynecological problems like myoma, PCOS, ovarian cyst etc

Preterm Birth

1 in 10 pregnant women gave birth prematurely in the US (2022). In our country, no specific data yet for 2023 but it is increasing in numbers due to a number of factors: maternal health, infections, diseases like hypertension and diabetes, physical stress, and poor prenatal check ups.

So, what are the ways to prevent this? Some of which are the ff:

1. Go to your OB or healthcare provider regularly. On the first sign of pregnancy, get a consultation right away. This helps you to know what vitamins to take, what activities are applicable for you and are there any medical conditions you might have that can affect your pregnancy.

2. Know your body. You know if something is not right, right? On the instance that you experience pain, spotting or any discomfort in your belly, contact your OB ASAP.

3. Eat healthy, be healthy
The right kinds of food will be discussed by your healthcare provider. Less salty, less sweet. That way, you can atleast somehow prevent having hypertension or diabetes while pregnant.

4. Every pregnancy is different, so just get advice from your OB (not with friends!)
This is so true. With my patients, I always tell them to inform me of anything unusual to them. I always say that every pregnancy is different and getting advice from others (not your healthcare provider) because they also had the same experience can be faulty at times. This is also a reminder that the best advice we can give someone who needs medical attention, is to get a consultation.

5. Its okay to get help.
Dont stress yourself too much on your work, on your chores etc. learn to stop and take a breather when you can. Not stressing too much can free your body of any pain in the future.

6. Take your prenatal vitamins. Always.
These supplements help you nourish the baby growing inside you. Take milk when able.

And the list goes on. But for now, these are the simple reminders for pregnant women to avoid the occurence of preterm birth. Of course we dont want that for your baby. ‘Til next time! ❤️

Every pregnancy is different. This patient of mine was complicated with threatened miscarriage in its early weeks. Until her late 2nd trimester, she still has on and off contractions. With proper medication, bed rest and lots of prayers, we were able to deliver the baby at 39 weeks.

Thank God for the medicines we are able to give patients like her. Tocolytic agents and steroids are a must when it comes to preterm labor and delivery.

Endpoint: mother and baby were discharged happy and healthy!

Thank you to our team for yet another successful delivery ❤️

Here are some of our deliveries last month!
Some pregnancies were high-risk like those complicated with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, early rupture of membranes, placenta previa, and oligohydramnios. Thankfully, babies were born safely and with no complications postpartum.

As always, thank you so much for the trust! It means so much to us ❤️

Tres Marias for this family!
All baby girls delivered via NSD in our clinic (2019, 2020, 2024). This mom is one of our first patients when we started our birthing clinic. Since all her pregnancies were low-risk and uncomplicated, she was able to carry all 3 to term and successfully deliver vaginally.

Thank you Jen and Anthony for trusting us once again. It means so much to us ❤️

*We also cater to high risk pregnancies such as those with Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes, Bronchial asthma, Thyroid problems, and those with previous Ceasrean section.

This baby just popped out before Christmas!

We encountered double cord coil in this case. Luckily, no signs of distress for the baby. Although we were forced to do Cesarean Section as the head was not descending.

Thank you Michelle! 2nd baby for this family entrusted in our care ❤️

Note:
Not all babies with cord coil should be delivered by CS. It also depends on the situation. There were cases before that we delivered babies with cord coil thru vaginal method. They can also undergo trial of labor but with very strict monitoring.

High risk pregnancies are increasing in number the past year. Comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes and thyroid problems are a few. We recently delivered a baby from a mother with seizure disorder. With proper medication and neurology consult, she was able to carry the baby to term. We are happy that both mother and baby are safe. Thank you for the trust Mommy Jess!

This is a testimonial from one of our patients. We are so happy that she finally held her newborn baby. The pregnancy and delivery is not easy, being hypertensive and diabetic. But all she did was to do as she is instructed. Very obedient patient. Monthly check ups with us and also her endocrinologist made a big role in her pregnancy journey.

Congratulations Chris and hubby! We are so delighted for your wonderful family ❤️

Thank you for the trust!

There are many complications of high risk pregnancy that can affect both the mother and baby. As early as the 1st trimester, it is a must to be able to visit and consult your OB Gyn so we can avoid these complications. It's our duty to deliver your babies safely.

Thank you for the trust❤️
