Dark to light shading using acrylic paint π¨ποΈ
WET-ON-WET SHADING
Similar to the flat wash, you can also try this popular acrylic shading technique that utilizes layers of wet paint. Apply wet paint on top of an already wet surface to allow the colors to blend together. For instance, you can start with a dark blue and work your way up to a light blue.
This technique is great for creating smooth shadows and gradients or giving your painting an ethereal look. You can blend the acrylic paint with a brush or other materials like a sponge or paper towel to create texture.
Since acrylic paint dries quickly, consider using an acrylic retarder or dipping your brush in water between uses to help with blending.

Color Mixing Simple Tipsπ‘π¨
(3) Three types of color mixing:
Additive
Subtractive
Average
In the first two cases, mixing is typically described in terms of three primary colors and three secondary colors (colors made by mixing two of the three primary colors in equal amounts).
Subtractive mixing with all three primaries will result in black, while additive mixing with all three primaries will result in white.

Insight: The painting describes the journey of life and its ups and downs and the way to progress the journey is to have faith in our God, to take a step forward and have a positive attitude.
The rough texture of painting and the gloomy colors of black and red represents the life adversity. Splash of white represents the person who is struggling tough times and those radiant colors around it signify the positive attitude that we must possess in times of difficulties.
The ascending white circles with gold represent the wisest, successful and most well-rounded people that have gone through tough times.
