Contest Mechanics

1. Open to all PPhA Chapters or Affiliate Organization
2. Interested Chapter or Affiliate Organization may form a group with a maximum of eight members.
3. Interested group must send us a demo video (min. of 3 minutes, max. of 5 minutes) or you may upload it to YouTube and send us a copy of the link through the official ppha email ([email protected]) from April 1, 2017 – April 15, 2017.
4. All qualified entries will be uploaded to the Official page of PPhA from April 15, 2017 up to April 30, 2017.
5. The entry with the most number of likes will automatically be given 20 pts., the top 2-5 entries with the most number of likes will be given 10 pts. and the rest will be given 5 pts.
6. All entries will be evaluated by the PPhA Board on May 5, 2017 using the following criteria for judging (eliminations):
a. 20% Choreography
b. 20% Coordination and timing
c. 10% Stage Presence
d. 10% Costume
e. 10% Creativity
f. 10% Overall impact (Impression to Judges)
g. 20% Audience Impact (FB Likes)
7. The top 3 entries with the highest score will be declared as “Finalist”
a. Finalists will be given Free Registration to the 2017 PPhA National Convention
i. If the finalist is already registered, his/her registration fee will be refunded.
8. Grand Finals will be held at the 2017 PPhA National Convention Fellowship Night.
a. The group will perform using the song of their choice.
b. The group will also be given a maximum of 5 minutes to perform.
c. Use of fire, pyrotechnics, water and items that will be deemed hazardous by the Organizing Committee will be strictly prohibited.
d. Criteria for Judging (Grand Finals)
i. 20% Choreography
ii. 20% Coordination and timing
iii. 10% Stage Presence
iv. 10% Costume
v. 10% Creativity
vi. 10% Overall impact (Impression to Judges)
vii. 20% Audience Impact (Impression to Audience)
e. Grand winner will receive Php 20,000 cash prize (for the group), a group trophy, individual certificates and Free Registration to each member to the 2018 Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Association Congress to be held in Manila. The grand winner will also have a chance to perform in the fellowship night during the FAPA Congress
f. First Runner Up will receive Php 15,000 cash prize (for the group) and individual certificates
g. Second Runner Up will receive Php 10,000 cash prize (for the group) and individual certificates
9. The judges’ decision will be final and irrevocable.
