The Joint Closing Ceremony of Basic Cadets and Advanced ROTC Officers is a significant event that marks the culmination by presentation of graduating cadets and followed by distributions of certificates - awards to the outstanding cadets and advance Officers then turn over of Authority that take place by reading of designation order and CDT COL PRINCE LEO LUMAPAS (ROTC) 1CL outgoing SNSU-DC ROTC UNIT Corps Commander for the relinquishment of Authority and the Assumption of Authority by CDT MAJ JUAN PAULO BOTONA (ROTC) 2CL the incoming SNSU-DC ROTC UNIT Corps Commander, then turn over of One hundred forty five(145) male & female cadets from part of ROTC to Reserve Unit under 1503 RRIBn Delta Company.

Over-all the Joint Closing Ceremony at Surigao Del Norte State University Del Carmen Campus Parade ground serve as a testament to the hard work, sacrifice, and camaraderie fostered throughout the training, preparing the future leaders of the military to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in their service to the armed forces and the nation.

They are composed of two schools; SURIGAO DEL NORTE STATE UNIVERSITY- DC CAMPUS(SNSU) and SIARGAO ISLAND INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(SIIT) These students are came from different municipalities in SIARGAO ISLAND, they are enrolled in MILITARY SCIENCE 1-2 under watch by ROTC UNITS. The ROTC is one of the components of NSTP.

In recognition of their efforts to excel academically while serving as Advance Cadet Officers, the Philippine Army Cash Incentives for the first semester of the school year 2023–2024 awarded ₱2250 to the 1CL Advance Cadet Officers of Surigao del Norte State University–Del Carmen Campus Reserved Officers Training Corps.

Advance ROTC Cadet Officers received cash incentives from the Philippine Army every semester if they maintained a general average of 90% and no grades lower than 85% in combined academic and ROTC areas.

On the 30th day of SEPTEMBER, SNSU DEL CARMEN CAMPUS's ROTC UNIT Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) under the 1503rd (MASALIGAN) Community Defense Center, 15RCGD, RESCOM, PA steered by COL CALIXTO D CADANO JR ART (GSC) PA,conducted it's fifth formation day for the A.Y. 2023-2024 where, Sgt Meclekeinth Resota (RES) PA, and Sgt Jemboy Magdula; with five (5) 1st CL Officers & Fourten (14) Advance ROTC Officers led the One Hundren twenty three (123) Cadets

Additionally, Lt.Col PRINCE LEO LUMAPAS (1CL) conducted Classroom Instruction under the MOI Military Courtesy & Discipline, While after Lt.Col Angelo Dulpina (1CL) conducted Written Quiz.
The activity concluded around 1130H thanks to the efforts of the SNSU ROTC UNIT Cadets and Cadet Officers' efforts, without unforeseen incidents.
