Transitioning and moving on from a difficult period of our lives is challenging. In the last few years, we have lost many loved ones, missed many opportunities, and felt abandoned and unloved. This has led many to lose faith in God, letting go of Him to pursue worldly things.

Nonetheless, the mission that God has for us did not stop – it simply transformed and transcended. Today, God reminds us of our covenant with Him: that He will become our light and shield, and we will become the salt, light, and leaven to the world. He calls us to take the journey back to Him, despite our sinfulness and doubt.

The question is: will we take the journey home, and once again say “yes” to Him?

God is so amazing that He used all of us as instruments that made us fruitful and victorious in our mission. God bless us more!

2025 is a Jubilee Year and it has been given the theme: “Pilgrims of Hope”.
“The Jubilee Year is a special year of grace, in which the Church offers the faithful the possibility of obtaining a plenary indulgence. Traditionally, it begins just before Christmas and ends on the Epiphany of the following year. The Pope inaugurates the Holy Year with the rite of the opening of the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica. After that, the Holy Doors of the other papal basilicas – St John Lateran, St Paul Outside the Walls, and St Mary Major – are opened and remain so until the end of the Jubilee Year.”

What a fruitful day! Throughout the day, we've experienced a transformative journey of coming home, making space for the Lord in our lives, receiving and giving forgiveness, living a new life, and being absolutely convinced that it is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard!

We leave this place with hearts full of gratitude, ready to live a new life of healing and renewal. As we say our farewells, let's carry with us the memories, lessons, and connections we've made, and continue to walk in the path of God's grace.

As we prepare to end our retreat and return to our respective mission fields, we must be absolutely convinced that it is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard (Acts 4:20)

Bro Alan leads us to ask for the grace of a heart that is brimming with joy and faithfulness, for we are about to embark on a wonderful yet very challenging mission of bringing Jesus' message of hope and healing to the world.

We've heard how Sis Binay endured the pain of seeing her son suffers from Covid 19. Her love for her child knows no bounds, especially during times of pain and suffering.

As her son battles COVID-19, Sis Binay finds hope and healing in the outpouring of love and support from those around her.

Together, they rely on God's grace and the kindness of others to see them through this difficult time. Let us continue to uplift and support one another as we journey through life's challenges.

In session 4, Bro Ronron joyfully spoke about God's healing and living a new life. God heals because He is compassionate. He heals to demonstrate His power to perform works in this world.

He often heals for the purpose of building and strengthening newly forming belief in Himself, either in the person being healed or ones looking on.

We are grateful for how God called Bro Ronron and Sis Binay - together with Bro Junee and Sis Pysche to help our brothers and sisters in the Dinagat Islands! We are inspired and amazed by how God works in them!
