This has got to be the hardest project I've done so far, mostly because I had hard time understanding the pattern 😆 Nevertheless, I still made it on time! Another Christmas gift done! 🙈 Been super busy cramming Christmas gifts this December. I still have a lot more to finish 🤣 Proportions are super off but I'm still very proud of it 😆

Hook Up A Niche 🧶

Hello fellow Yarn Addicts! Starting today, our Shopee store HookUpANiche will be double bagging all orders to give an extra layer of protection to the yarn babies during transit in order to avoid damages just in case the outer pouch gets punctured/damaged. I'm sure most of you reading this post right now are avid shoppers on online shipping platforms such as Shopee and Lazada as well. You might only be receiving a few parcels every month and after excitingly tearing apart the pouch to finally be able to get your hands on the newly purchased yarns, you just chuck the torn packaging into the trash can and start to crochet/knit away.

A pouch or two might not look like a lot for you but as a Shopee seller myself, I realized how much more waste I am generating daily as more people purchase from my shop. Sometimes extra packaging is needed to protect the item, therefore, further contributing to the already uncontrollable issue. Since the use of these packaging cannot be avoided, the best we all can do is to get more use out of them before throwing them away.

As we are excited to open the parcel that we've been longing to get our hands on, take a step back and think, how can I open the package without completely destroying the pouch or container so that it gets to be used again? For my buyers, I strongly encourage you to carefully cut the top portion of the pouch open, so that the pouch can still be used as trash bags. Let's all do our part to preserve Mother Earth. 💕🌍♻️
