Rest in peace, Idol Jayson Dandoy ( #26)! 🙏
I’m blessed to share life with this beautiful woman who finds her true value not in material symbols 💍, but in the depth of her being.
She knows her self-worth transcends the earthly price of possessions, for she understands the priceless treasure that she is. ❤️
Sons carry within them the dreams & aspirations of their parents, yet they are also called to forge their own path, to discover their own purpose, and to make their own mark on the world.
They remind us that while we can provide them with roots, we must also give them wings—encouraging them to soar, to explore, and to become the men they are meant to be.
Movie Date 🎬
Finally got to watch 'GomBurZa" with our daughter Kyla.
I hope every citizen will embrace the role of being a lifelong student of history, and become a guardian of our nation’s collective memory.
By watching movies like ‘GomBurZa’, we become educated instead of just being entertained and are reminded of the immense sacrifices and bravery of our long-forgotten national heroes.
This sacred pursuit not only honors those who came before us but also illuminates the path ahead, ensuring that we stride into the future with eyes wide open, minds instilled with wisdom, and hearts filled with love of country.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
Sometimes, it is easier to believe in God than to TRUST in Him because we view the trustworthiness of God through the lens of our PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES, when we should be viewing our circumstances through the lens of God’s PERMANENT CHARACTER.
Sunday Reflections
While typing this poem, I inadvertently made an error (guess which line), serving as a reminder that only God makes NO mistakes.
In every circumstance of life, it's reassuring to know that God never makes mistakes.
May these words bring encouragement to your heart as you delve into this poem today.
He Maketh No Mistake
by A.M. Overton
My Father’s way may twist and turn,
My heart may throb and ache,
But in my soul I’m glad to know,
He maketh no mistake.
My cherished plans may go astray,
My hopes may fade away,
But I’ll trust my Lord to lead
For He doth know the way.
Tho’ night be dark, and it may seem
That day will never break,
I’ll pin my faith, my all in Him,
He maketh no mistake.
There’s so much now I cannot see,
My eyesight’s far too dim;
But come what may, I’ll simply trust
And leave it all to Him.
For by and by the mist will lift
And plain it all He’ll make,
Through all the way, tho’ dark to me
He made not one mistake.

In the click of a shutter, photography transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, inviting us to witness the world with fresh eyes.
It encourages us to pause, observe, and appreciate the details that often escape our attention in the hustle of daily life.
In a world saturated with images, the act of seeing through photography becomes a contemplative practice—a way to unveil truths, challenge assumptions, and celebrate the rich tapestry of life.
"Remember, my dear son, you are not defined by my successes or shortcomings.
You are your own person, with a distinct set of dreams, aspirations, and potentials.
Define success on your own terms, not mine or someone else’s. While I’m here to guide you, your goals should reflect your own passions and purpose.
Your life’s journey is uniquely yours, and I have full confidence that you'll navigate it with faith, courage, and wisdom." ❤️

RIZAL DAY REFLECTIONS
“To foretell the destiny of a nation, it is necessary to open the book that tells of her past.” ~ Dr. Jose Rizal
Today, as we commemorate the life, martyrdom, and legacy of our national hero, Jose Rizal, let us reflect on his very own words: “to foretell the destiny of a nation, it is necessary to open the book that tells of her past.”
As Filipinos, we are blessed with a rich history, filled with tales and stories of courage, resilience and heroism. Our forefathers fought for our nation’s freedom, sacrificing their lives to ensure that we could live in a land where dreams can come true. They laid the foundation upon which we stand today, and it is our duty to honor their legacy.
When we open the book of our past, we see a nation that has overcome numerous obstacles and countless challenges. We see a people who have risen above adversity time and time again. We see a history that is a testament to the patriotism and bravery that runs through our veins.
But our history is not just a collection of stories. It is a guide, a source of inspiration that reminds us of our potential. It reminds us that we are capable of greatness, that we have the power to shape our nation’s destiny.
In every page of our past, we find stories of ordinary Filipinos doing extraordinary things. We see our farmers toiling under the scorching sun, nurturing the land that sustains us. We see teachers imparting knowledge to the next generation, shaping young minds. We see doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers tirelessly caring for the sick. We see artists, musicians, and athletes using their talents to bring joy and inspiration to others.
We must draw strength from these stories.
As we face the challenges of today and the uncertainties of tomorrow, let us remember that we are the authors of our own destiny. We hold the pen, and it is up to us to write the next chapters of our nation’s story.
Let us dream big, believe in ourselves, and work together, hand in hand, to build a country that we can all be proud of. 🇵🇭

RIZAL DAY REFLECTIONS
In these powerful words by Dr. Jose Rizal, there echoes a resounding call to embrace a love of country that transcends personal interests and, if necessary, extends to the ultimate sacrifice. Rizal's sentiment carries the weight of profound conviction—a belief that the love for one's nation is a force capable of inspiring selfless acts and enduring sacrifice.
"I want to show to those who deprive people the right to love of country, that when we know how to sacrifice ourselves for our duties and convictions, death does not matter if one dies for those one loves – for his country and for others dear to him."
In this quote, Rizal challenges those who deny individuals the right to love their country, asserting that genuine patriotism involves a willingness to sacrifice for one's duties and convictions. The emphasis on sacrifice underscores the idea that true love of country goes beyond mere sentiment; it demands action, dedication, and sometimes, the willingness to face the ultimate consequence.
The notion that death loses its sting when one sacrifices for the greater good speaks to the enduring legacy of Rizal's own sacrifice. His life was a testament to the belief that individuals, when driven by a profound love for their country and fellow citizens, can transform challenges into opportunities for positive change.
Dr. Jose Rizal's words remind us that the love of country is a potent force, capable of inspiring individuals to rise above personal fears and comforts in the pursuit of a greater cause.
In a world where sacrifice for the common good is sometimes overshadowed, Rizal's message remains a timeless beacon, challenging us to reflect on our duties, convictions, and the depth of our love for our homeland and fellow human beings.
As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve been on and the journey that lies ahead.
This coming year 2024, let’s not just aim to survive, but to truly thrive. Let’s embrace the challenges and opportunities that come our way with open arms and a determined spirit.
Surviving is about getting by, about weathering the storm. But thriving? That’s about growing stronger with every gust of wind, about turning every drop of rain into a chance to bloom. It’s about not just enduring life, but truly living it.
This new year, let’s commit ourselves to a new mindset. A mindset where we don’t just make it through the day, but we seize it, we own it, and we make it count. Where every day is a chance to learn something new, to grow, to improve, and to make a difference.
Let’s not just set goals, but chase them with a passion. Let’s not just dream, but work to turn those dreams into reality. Let’s not just hope for the best, but do our best to make it happen.
Remember, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. And this journey, this new year, let’s make it one where we thrive. Let’s fill it with joy, with love, with adventure, and with moments that take our breath away.

Christmas Reflections
As we gather around our families, warmed by the glow of love and unity, let us take a moment to reflect on the profound significance of this sacred season.
Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, but it also serves as a reminder of the remarkable journey that began over two thousand years ago in a humble manger in Bethlehem.
The birth of Jesus Christ was not just an ordinary event marked in the annals of history, but a beacon of hope that continues to shine brightly in our world today.
He came to us, not as a mighty king in a grand palace, but as a vulnerable child, embodying humility and simplicity.
His life, teachings, death and resurrection offer us the gift of hope, a promise that no matter how dark our circumstances may seem, there is always a dawn waiting to break, always a star ready to shine.
Jesus came to heal the sick, comfort the broken-hearted, and restore the spirits of those who were lost. His healing was not just physical, but also emotional and spiritual, reaching into the depths of human suffering and bringing forth wellness and wholeness.
In a world often torn by conflict and strife, the message of peace that Jesus brought resonates powerfully. He taught us that true peace comes not from the absence of conflict, but from the presence of justice, respect, and love for all.
Jesus’ life was a testament to joy, a joy that was not dependent on external circumstances but sprang from an inner well of divine love.
The gift of forgiveness that Jesus offered is perhaps one of his most transformative teachings and the most important reason why He came. For “in Him, we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:14)
And finally, Jesus brought us the gift of restoration. He showed us that no matter how far we may have strayed, it is never too late to return, to make amends, and to start anew.
As we celebrate Christmas, let us remember these gifts that Jesus brought to the world - hope, healing, peace, joy, forgiveness, and restoration.
Let us strive to embody these values in our own lives, spreading the true spirit of Christmas in every word we speak, every action we take, and every heart we touch.

TO BE YOUNG & IN LOVE 💞
To be young and in love is an adventure like no other, filled with excitement, passion, and ‘kilig’ moments. 💗😍
It’s a time of life that is cherished, remembered, and often, yearned for, long after youth has faded away. 💞
It’s about the thrill of the first shared glance, the electricity of the first touch, the magic of the first shared “I love you” and of course…the intimacy of the first shared kiss. 😘😍
It’s about feeling invincible, as if you can conquer the world, as long as you have each other. 👫
Being young and in love is about dreaming together, building a shared future, and making those dreams come true. 👩❤️👨
It’s about sharing not just your joys and successes, but also your fears and failures. It’s about being there for each other, no matter what. 💕
It’s about shared experiences, shared memories, and a shared bond that can withstand the test of time. 🕰️
It’s about creating a love story that is uniquely your own. ❤️
Supporting local businesses and young entrepreneurs is not just a choice; it’s a powerful way to make a positive impact in our communities.

Collecting old typewriters is a passion that stems from a deep appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and the tactile experience of writing.
Each typewriter holds countless stories, not just in the letters and documents it has helped to create, but also in its own journey through time.
The intricate mechanics, the feel of the keys under my fingers, and the satisfying sound of each click and clack as letters are being imprinted onto paper, create a unique, sensory writing experience that modern technology simply cannot replicate.
Yet, it’s not just about nostalgia of a bygone era. It’s also about recognizing the beauty in the design and engineering of these machines.
The craftsmanship that went into creating each typewriter is truly remarkable. Each model has its own personality, its own quirks and features, which makes every addition to the collection a new adventure in discovery.
Collecting old typewriters is not only a way to connect with the past. It’s about preserving a tangible piece of technological and literary history.
It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come in terms of technology and communication, and also a testament to the enduring power of the written word.
Each typewriter is not just an object, but a piece of history, a work of art, and a tool for creativity. 📜✨🕰️
