An abstract painting based on the scene of the two disciples walking with Jesus on the road going to a village called Emmaus. (Luke 24,13-33)

The process has been very emotional to me, excitement with a little bit of fear, because it has been a fruit of my reflections about this part of the gospel until the inspiration I needed arrived. I would say that I did the preparations with the Holy Spirit beside me.

The part that strucked me most is when the two disciples said: "Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road.." Their hearts were burning eventhough not knowing that it was Jesus who was accompanying them. This scene may be an inspiration also for us to let our hearts be burned by the presence of Jesus in our lives knowing that He's always with us.

The most difficult artwork so far🤭 Flowers are not my forte because of the precise details you have to give on it to make it more alive. But I am very much contented with the output knowing that I've work hard for it.
