Taekwondo Association (PTA) is the only recognized National Sports Association (NSA) by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) which joins elite competitions such as ASEAN Championships, SEA Games, World Taekwondo tournaments and OLYMPICS. Since 1997 daehan taekwondo is a member of this prestigious sport.
