We would like you to meet the team behind this advocacy, as we come to an end of our journey as advocates. As we fulfill our purpose in advocating less meat consumption, we're hoping that veg-YES inspired fellow Filipino's in terms of consuming less meat, has provided best and healthier alternative foods. Also, inspired you to be mindful and healthy.π
Cassava chips, made by deep-frying thinly sliced roots, are a common snack in several southeast Asian countries. Compared to potato chips, cassava chips are also healthier because they contain less acrylamid.
Cassava is very high in potassium. It also contains most of the B-vitamins (except B12), vitamin A, magnesium, selenium, calcium, and iron. Plus, it's rich in copper, a mineral necessary for neurotransmitter synthesis, energy production, iron metabolism.
Cassava since the latter contains niacin, riboflavin, thiamine and high in vitamin C. An important vitamin that acts as an antioxidant, supports collagen production, and enhances immunity, among other benefits.
