We’re happy to know the creativity of our soldiers from the 25th Infantry Fireball Battalion led by LtCol. Michael Aquino. As reported by him, they converted some of our KM trucks to Mobile Learning Centers for Kinder to Grade 2 levels benefitting more than 1,000 students in several schools in remote places within their area of operation (AOR). The Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) aims to provide support to communities in the form of training, skills development, technology transfer, vocational programs, micro-financing, and other forms of assistance to promote productivity and economic prosperity. This cluster will prioritize employment, skills training, institutional development, financing, entrepreneurship, marketing, and food security to address poverty and promote sustainable livelihoods.

TESDA Southern Leyte Provincial Office together with the PRLEC member-agency Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) distributed the 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐬 to the beneficiaries as intervention to the PRLEC-covered barangays in Brgy. Hilaan, Bontoc, Southern Leyte.

The beneficiaries are the graduates who successfully completed the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐀𝐏 𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐈 conducted by PTC-Southern Leyte on June 14-24, 2022.
