USND VISITED ARMY GENERAL HOSPITAL
On 13 November 2023, Undersecretary IRINEO C ESPINO, Department of National Defense, together with Assistant Secretary for Human Resource, ANTONIO L BAUTISTA, visited Army General Hospital to conduct a Gift-Giving Activity to the admitted battle casualty patients. He was received and accompanied by none other than the Commanding General, Philippine Army, LTGEN ROY M GALIDO, together with COL EMILIO R PAJARILLO JR MNSA (INF) PA, Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group and COL ALDRICH RAYMUND A FERNANDEZ MC (GSC), Commanding Officer, AGH. A total of twenty-four (24) patients received grocery packs from DND.

ACDI DONATED 3 AIRCONDITIONING UNITS FOR ARMY GENERAL HOSPITAL
On 7 November 2023, ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, headed by BGEN AUGUSTO V GAITE AFP (RET), President, visited this unit for the signing of Deed of Donation and turn-over of three (3) split-type air-conditioning units to AGH. These equipment were received by COL RAYMUND ALDRICH A FERNANDEZ MC (GSC), Commanding Officer, together with LTC SHEILA ELLAINE S LUIS MAC, Admin Officer of Army General Hospital.
This kind of deed will be much appreciated by AGH, and most especially by the patients we cater.

AGH receives donation from Aguinaldo Vets & Associates Credit Cooperative
As part of their support to Army General Hospital, Mr. Leo M. Cabantac, President and CEO of Aguinaldo Vets & Associates Credit Cooperative, led the donation of 4 wall fans, 1 split type air conditioner, 1 desktop computer and 1 3-in-1 printer, today at the AGH VIP Lounge. The said equipment were received by MAJ LEO CARLO B MAYO MC, Executive Officer of AGH, LTC DENNIS MANUEL O CASPE MC, Chief, Laboratory Section and the rest of the personnel of Laboratory Section.

AGH RECEIVES DONATED AMBULANCE AND EQUIPMENT FROM AFPMBAI
The Army General Hospital received one (1) Patient Transport Ambulance, one (1) Digital Mobile Radiographic System, and one (1) 4D Ultrasound Machine donated by the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association Incorporated (AFPMBAI) in a Ceremonial Handover and Blessing at AGH Lobby, HHSG, PA on 24 May 2023.
Said activity was graced by Retired Brig. Gen. Bienvenido Y. Regondola, President & CEO of AFPMBAI and donations were formally received by Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Commanding General, Philippine Army and Colonel Manuel Fidel M. Magtira, Commanding Officer, Army General Hospital.
Col Magtira is very much thankful because through this generous donation, AGH is not only receiving life-saving equipment but also receiving a gift of hope. This hope extends far beyond the walls of this hospital and touches the hearts of all those who will benefit from this equipment.
AGH boosts the morale of their personnel during its 1st Quarter Socials CY 2023
30 March 2023|| Led by COL MANUEL FIDEL M MAGTIRA MC (GSC), Commanding Officer, Army General Hospital, AGH conducted its 1st Quarter Socials CY 2023 with a theme “AGH Rockstar Night”. The program was stirred up by AGH Laboratory Section headed by LTC DENNIS MANUEL O CASPE MC, Chief, Laboratory Section, which included the gift giving to birthday celebrators, “Battle of the Rockstar Singing Contest” and “Rockstars of the Night” (best in costume contest) in the program.
AGH joins the Blood Donation Program ICOW 126th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary
MARCH 19, 2023|| In support with the “Dugong Alay Ko, Dugtong sa Buhay Mo” Blood Donation Program of Philippine Army, AGH participated and augmented personnel to act as phlebotomist, vital signs checker and medical team.
The activity, in partnership with Philippine Red Cross and Philippine Army Officers Ladies Club, Inc. (PAOLCI), was held at the Headquarters Philippine Army and Ricarte Hall, Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.

For the year 2022, AGH Mental Health Resilience Center has served 16,454 Army personnel and dependents through assessment and neuropsychiatric screening, psychosocial support, clinical services, and research and development.
Look|| AGH Staff participated in the briefing of Graduate School Programs offered by the Philippine Christian University, Taft, Manila conducted last 27 January 2023. Thru this conduct of activity, personnel were encouraged to enroll in Graduate School Programs for further advancement of their career and professional growth.
AGH Sergeant Major, SMS Edgardo E Labro (Inf) PA led the invocation followed by introduction of Dr. Edna A Sajo, Site Coordinator/Faculty and previous CHR Supervisor of Army Recruitment Center and Mr Stanley Dimain who discussed the different Graduate Programs being offered.
After the activity, 4 personnel had signified their intent to enroll in the said Graduate School Programs. The Army General Hospital seeks to conduct similar activities to help equip its personnel to be more globally competitive and provide quality healthcare service.
The activity concluded around 11am of the same date.
Look|| AGH conducted a long-time military tradition of Donning of Ranks for the newly promoted AGH Personnel at AGH Multi-purpose Hall on 25 January 2023, 3pm.
The ceremony started with an invocation led by AGH Sergeant Major, SMS Edgardo E Labro (Inf) PA followed by the reading of promotion orders by the Admin & Personnel Officer, AGH, CPT ANTHONY LESTER R MATIBAG MAC and the ceremonial Donning of Ranks officiated by the Commanding Officer, AGH, COL MANUEL FIDEL M MAGTIRA MC (GSC) of the 6 newly promoted personnel in front of the Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Human Resource of the unit.
In his congratulatory message, COL MAGTIRA MC (GSC) recognized the hardships and challenges faced by the newly promoted personnel which qualified them for their promotions. He further encouraged them to concentrate on improving themselves for the betterment of their military careers and the services they provide to their constituents in line with his intention of starting the year right steered by the Guidance of the Commander, HHSG, PA and CGPA’s Command Guidance S-E-R-V-E

The Army General Hospital is honored to be visited by an exceptional leader, the 10th General of the Nurse Corps and the 26th Chief Nurse AFP, BRIGADIER GENERAL VENUS MAGWELANG BAJARIN NURSE CORPS with her Staff on 19 April 2022. She was welcomed by the AGH Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Human Resource headed by the dynamic Commanding Officer, COL JONNA D DALAGUIT MC (GSC) and COL RACHEL P SERVITO NC (GSC), Chief Nurse, AGH.
The activity aims to assess the performance of Nursing Service Personnel anchored on the standards of delivering safe and quality patient care and evaluate the level of morale of both nursing service personnel and client, and also to evaluate the health care services provided to our troops and to address possible issues and concerns.
