Odontectomy is the surgical removal of impacted tooth. It is very common among mandibular third molars.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) contains a high concentration of white blood cells and fibrin, along with a small number of stem cells. When placed into the tooth extraction site, PRF speeds healing and recovery. Platelet, fibrin and white blood cells that play a key role in healing.

Piezosurgery can be used effectively during bone surgery. Precise cutting of hard tissue while reducing the risk of injury to soft tissue makes it beneficial. The device generates minimal heat during the cutting, further protecting the adjacent tissue. Dentists benefit from the ease of use, improving surgery results.

1. Root canal treated tooth was extracted. Indicated when tooth extraction is due to trauma, endodontic lesion, root fracture and bony walls of alveolus are still intact.
2. Immediate placement of implant fixture after extraction.
