Our limited collaborative model with Warehouse & Co. Based on an anomalous model produced by Levi's towards the end of WW2 in the 40s. (*See Page 111 of The 501XX Book).

The Contest Jean, while based on a WW2 cut, possesses a couple of traits that distinguishes it from most jeans inspired by that era. It has a slightly lower rise and more generous top block with a gentle curve at the hip. This extra space creates a balloon-like taper from the hip down, a silhouette which is highly emblematic of the 1930s and 1940s.

Alden + Signet “The B.L.M. Boot”

The B.L.M. (Or Black Lace-up Military Boot) is made from Shell Cordovan and comes with blacked-out eyelets, commando outsoles, and a hand-stitched apron that has been assembled using black thread.

Produced using the 379x Military Last. One of the most anatomically-correct lasts currently offered by Alden. It holds the heel in place, provides ample arch support, and allows the toes to lay flat without restriction. When properly sized the 379x last provides its wearer with unparalleled comfort fit for all-day wear.

Produced using an assortment of Italian Veg-Tanned Horse Hide, which have been subject to various finishes and treatments. The dynamic arrangement of textures is well executed here, resulting in a unique but eye-catching rendition of the classic military style boot.

Produced using lightweight and gauzy patchwork madras that will bleed and develop a beautiful patina with regular wash.

The shirt is sewn using chainstitched construction and comes equipped with two chevron-type pockets at the chest.

Produced using the Aberdeen Last; The Pierre fuses the ruggedness of a Mocc-Toe boot with the elegance and tapered profile of a dress shoe. This limited boot produced expressly for the Signet store features antiqued edges, a single Waterlock sole, and a Starburst Heel.

The Flat Head Denim Coverall coordinated with a Full Count Open Collar Shirt and Beige Tapered Chinos.

Based on a 1920s design, Flat Head's recreation of this workwear staple is instead rendered with highgrade and long staple Zimbabwean Cotton. It comes complete with an array of engraved Brass Buttons and a collection of 4 highly functional outer pockets.

When taken in your usual size, this piece sports a more fitted silhouette than most. It sits closer to the body and extends in a straight line from the chest down.

Iron Heart 21 oz Selvedge Denim Double Knee Engineer Pants.

Produced using heavyweight 21 oz denim. This model sports a second layer of reinforcement at the thighs and knees, 2 areas that experience high amounts of stress. Its seams have also been triple-stitched so as to maintain the jean’s structural integrity throughout its wear.

One of our favorite leathers -- Snuff/Rust colored suede makes a great alternative to brown and helps to highlight the material’s unique aging.

Nicknamed the "Monroe", the 0107 hugs the hips and drapes into an elegant wide-legged silhouette, a very typical shape during the 1950s.

Produced using 13.7 oz Zimbabwe Cotton, this proprietary material from FC is known to develop pajama-like softness with regular use and wash.

The Real McCoy’s Chambray Western Shirt.

Inspired by the sawtooth westerners that were prevalent during the 1960s. This faithful reproduction from McCoy’s is produced using lightweight chambray and sports unique diamond shaped snap buttons.

Visvim Cardwell Shirt + Haversack Glen Check Semi-Flare Pants.

Man in Black --- A denim westerner that brings to mind the likes of legendary country musician Johnny Cash.

Ironheart takes this iconic 50's pattern and over-engineers it resulting in a piece that is uniquely theirs. Coming in a BRAWNY 14 oz denim fabric, this shirt has been black sulphur dyed and will fade to grey with regular wash/wear.

When taken in your usual size, the shirt will sit closer to your body and exhibit just a tinge of shaping on the waist.

Paolo styles this piece with some 21 oz Selvedge Double Knee Engineer Pants (also from Ironheart), a pair of Black Wesco Hendrik Boots, and an assortment of rugged biker rings from Repop MFG.

Anatomica x Mighty Mac Boat Jacket.

Mighty Mac was originally founded as a fishing brand in 1908. They were situated in America's oldest port -- Gloucester, Massachusetts. It has been revived by Anatomica with attention to recreating pieces based on archival garments from the historical brand. This particular item is patterned after a 1930's era jacket worn by those who worked at sea or in a harbor. It is a loose fitting jacket made of cotton and nylon and features a helmsman figurine on the zipper.

Fire-King represented a time when everyday objects slowly transcended their most basic functions and became pieces that were, in conjunction with their utility, also a joy to behold.

They were introduced during the early 1940s, a period at the tail end of the Great Depression while the Second World War loomed on the horizon. Fire King with its verdant hue that mimicked the opalescence of jade, separated them from their contemporaries and helped communicate that they were better not just in looks but also in function, able to withstand higher temperatures than most glassware available at that time. After its introduction, Fire King Jadeite easily permeated every American home and became the symbol of Americana as we know it today.

Sassafras Fall Leaf Tough Pants in Bafu Cloth.

Loosely based on military issue pants like the M-51 and M-65. Sporting a total of 12 pockets, the Fall Leaf Tough pant comes equipped with all the storage space you'll need and then some.

Produced using an uncommon fabric referred to as BAFU cloth, which is a cotton material with a similar hand-feel and weight to poplin and typewriter cloth. It is thin and lightweight yet firm and durable. It's also got a relatively smooth surface so any dirt marks that might end up on it can very easily be washed out!

Ring Jacket & Signet Double Breasted Sport Coat

Inspired by the historic Naval Officer's Service Jacket from WW2, this piece not only serves as a perfect example of traditional military uniform pervading sartorial clothing, but is also one of our most versatile sport coats.

Despite its classical silhouette and detailing, our Ring Jacket Lovat Tweed Double Breasted Sport Coat can easily be thrown in whatever outfit you see fit. It'll look equally great with a pair of shorts or a set of mid-grey trousers.

You may find this in 2 distinct finishes, a Hopsack Weave from the Lovat Mill (pictured above) and in Wool Flannel from Fox Brothers.

First Issued to U.S. Navy combatants during the tail-end of WWII. The USN HBT Jacket's key features are its donut laurel buttons and 2 large pockets at the front. It's made of Olive 2x1 Herringbone Twill Weave Cotton, a material that was lighter and just as tough as denim.

JM wears a Real McCoy’s Plaid-Check Sports Jacket with a Joe McCoy Bulldog Tee and a pair of Lot. 996 White Denim Jeans.

The jacket is patterned upon the drizzler type rain coats from the 1950s, a style associated with the likes of James Dean and Paul Newman.

Much like the originals, this too is produced using a cotton/poly blend, thereby creating a garment that is both durable and water-resistant.

The Real McCoy’s Jungle Fatigue Jacket / Collinsworth.

Based on an early version of the combat fatigues issued to U.S. military soldiers during the Vietnam war.

This version is rendered in a lightweight cotton poplin and features a set of patches that a lieutenant at that time could've worn.

The Real McCoy’s Lot 001xx Denim Jeans.

One of the most authentic examples of the 1950s cut available today. This rendition by McCoy’s has been produced using 14.5 oz denim which has been created specifically to fade and age exactly like the originals.

The Real McCoy’s Climber’s Striped Rugby Shirt.

During the rock-climbing boom of the 1970s, rugby shirts were a highly sought after garment due to their prevalence in thrift shops, as well as the durability and ease of movement they offered.

The humble Oxford Cloth Buttondown. One of the most lasting symbols of Americana (just beside denim of course). It has withstood a century of cultural and political change and will likely do so for a century more.

Pictured above is one of our favorite examples newly arrived from Kamakura Shirts. It's been released as part of their "Vintage Ivy" collection, a series of shirts that seek to revive the details and fit of OCBDs from the past. This has been cut from mid-weight oxford and can be found in a host of other colors at Signet Power Plant.

Keep cool but be prepared for rain!

Jayson is dressed in an eclectic mix of casual pieces which keep the frenetic weather we've been having as of late wholy in mind.

These items include a water-repellent Waxed Filson Zipped Tote, Drake's Espadrilles, Boncoura Stripe Indigo Shorts, Warehouse 4601 Tee, a UES Hickory Stripe cap and a good old Kamakura OCBD worn as an overshirt.

Alden + Signet ‘The 1888 Chukka’.

Our take on Alden’s 2-eyelet chukka, in place of the usual rounded silhouette of the Barrie however, we opted for the elegant and more sophisticated Hampton Last, the same shape used in the Straight Tip Bal Oxfords.

Its streamlined profile, along with its Black Dress Calf Leather uppers, lend these shoes to be perfectly wearable with finer clothing.
