Ephesians 5:22-33
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, [b]of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Bakit hindi mo kayang iligtas ang sarili mo sa dagat ng impyerno? WHY DO I NEED TO BE SAVED?All the religions of the world teach that we need to be "saved," but each has a different understanding of what we need to be save...

"Kicking off weekly Bible study with my team! 🙌 So excited for this new journey together. Thank God for making it happen—what a great start!"
The devil appeared to three Pastors and said to them: "If I gave you the power to change something in the past, what would you change?"
The first of them, with great apostolic fervor, replied: "I would like to prevent you from leading Adam and Eve to sin, so that humanity does not separate from God."
The second, a man full of mercy, said to him: "I will prevent you from straying from God and condemning you forever."
The third of them was the simplest and instead of answering the tempter, he knelt down, bowed his head and prayed: "Lord, deliver me from the temptation of what might have been and what was not."
The demon, screaming and trembling with pain, fled.
The other two were surprised and said to him: "Brother, why did you react like this?"
And he answered them: “First, we should never talk to the enemy.”
“Secondly, no one in the world has the power to change the past.”
“Third: Satan’s interest was not to prove our virtue, but to trap us in the past, so that we neglect the present, the only time God gives us His grace and we can cooperate with Him to fulfill His will.”
Of all the demons, the one that most holds men back and prevents them from being happy is “what could have been and was not.” The past is left to the mercy of God and the future to His providence. Only the present is in our hands. Live today loving God with all your heart.
Have you ever felt too embarrassed to post on Facebook? Avoided parties, old friends, relatives and speaking engagements because you weren't happy with your appearance?
That was my reality. Hi, I'm Jaryd Gellor, and this is my journey.
Back in 2014, I was juggling work, school, and my passion for swimming while being a working student. Evenings were spent jogging in BGC after office hours, and weekends were dedicated to perfecting my strokes at my uncle's condo pool in Taguig. I hit the gym too, focusing on core strength without bulking up, because my goal wasn't bodybuilding—it was winning the competition.
After winning medals and graduating, life threw me into a whirlwind of starting and closing businesses, getting married, and facing the challenges of the pandemic. Stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights became routine. Despite my efforts to stay active and eat right, I started gaining weight uncontrollably. Keto? Tried it, struggled with it.
By early 2024, I was at a loss. I exercised, I didn't overeat, yet I kept gaining. Until a friend visited my shop looking noticeably slimmer. Curious, I asked what changed. His secret? Yoli's 28-day transformation, focusing on balancing the body's systems rather than extreme diets or workouts.
Realizing my body needed balance, not just exercise and diet tweaks, I took the plunge in July. And guess what? In just 28 days, I shed 15 kilos. Unbelievable, right? It was that simple yet profound realization that restored my confidence and health.
Now, I'm not just lighter physically, but emotionally too. I've regained my joy in socializing, posting proudly on FB, and embracing life's occasions. My journey taught me that true transformation goes beyond the scale—it's about finding peace of mind and balance within ourselves.
If you've ever felt stuck like I did, remember, there's always a way forward. Sometimes, the simplest solutions lead to the most profound changes. Thank you, Yoli, for showing me the path to a healthier, happier me.
