PFAS are widely used in everyday products, ranging from non-stick cookware to cleaning products and personal care items. But today, what began as a useful chemical has emerged as one of the most pressing public health concerns of our time.

In this published paper on Current Research in Nutrition and Food Science Journal, discover how Shimadzu’s leading LCMS technology enables the preliminary screening for 15 types of PFAS found in food-grade paper packaging commonly used by major quick-service restaurants.
