Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano was awarded with the National Nutrition Council-NCR’s Plaque of Recognition for Outstanding Leadership in Nutrition Management on August 16, 2024 during the Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony in Quezon City.

The award recognizes her outstanding leadership in managing nutrition programs and demonstrates her unwavering commitment to improving the health and nutrition of Taguig communities through the effective implementation of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN).

As Chair of the Taguig City Nutrition Committee, Mayor Lani Cayetano has consistently pursued nutrition improvement, leading Taguig to earn multiple prestigious recognitions, including the Green Banner Seal of Compliance, CROWN Awards, the Nutrition Honor Award, and the Certificate of Quality Nutrition Program Award.

Taguig City, a Hall of Famer in both the CROWN Awards and Nutrition Honor Award categories, continues to excel with other recognitions that highlight its outstanding work in nutrition management:

• 2024 Regional Nutrition Month Music Video Contest - Champion, Taguig City Barangay Nutrition Scholars
• 2023 Outstanding City Nutrition Action Officer - Julita S. Bernabe (Contender)
